These mittens had me intrigued right away because the title says “wool,” but the material list says “acrylic,” so… who knows what percentage of actual wool is in there? A mystery! A mitten mystery! It feels like there’s some wool in the outer knit, but it would be nice if the listing gave us more than a guessing game — especially when we’re talking cold-weather gear in the northern U.S.That said, the inside is completely super soft and fluffy — like sticking your hands into tiny fleece-lined clouds. And that fuzziness definitely helps keep your hands warm, which is exactly why I prefer mittens over gloves once the temps tank. The photos make the outer knit look thicker than it actually is, but they’re still very cute, stylish, and feel well made with no stitching issues in them at all. I am adding photos so you can decide for yourself. The color matches the pictures perfectly. They’re fashionable, cozy, and bonus: great if you have longer fingers and need some room! Overall, a very good buyI’m hoping these will keep my hands warm all winter in cold Minnesota (the question lies in how much wool is in the outer layer) — and if they do, we’re going to be best friends for years.
My HOPSOOKEN Winter Mittens arrived sealed in a plastic bag, assuring me that my product was new and unused. Happily, there was no odor of any kind when I unsealed the bag. The label indicates that the product was made in China. The workmanship looks good, and I found no loose stitching or uneven seams. The gloves look like the pictures on the information page. They are not as thick as I hoped, but they are very plushy inside. That, however, will not likely turn into the warmth I might have hoped for when ordering them. Winters get quite chilly in the northeast, and I do not feel these will be warm enough to wear alone. Since I am very small, however, there is some room left inside the mittens, which can accommodate larger hands. I can wear them as is, but I can also wear gloves underneath, which would amplify the warmth during the colder months. There is no labeling inside the mittens at all, so there is no information about the fabric content or instructions for care. The label on the package only shows country of origin, so more information about the mittens themselves is only available on the information page.In summation, I do like my new mittens and will be wearing them. They are pretty and feel very cozy when worn. They are just right for the crisp, fall days we are currently experiencing, and the color is neutral. I have removed one star due only to lack of labeling.
I got these to wear outdoor while watching my daughter’s winter soccer league. They are so soft inside! They have a faux fur lining that makes them extra warm and comfy. So far they seem like good quality construction and that they will hold up nicely this winter. They are a little darker in person than how they photograph. They didnt offer me different sizes but I have larger hands and they fit me well. My teen daughter tried them on and they were big but she liked them.
Although I am not able to comment on longevity, I can say these women's mittens are thick and warm. The color is a beautiful, rich, deep red with a soft and cozy lining. I have pretty large hands for a women and when gloves were actually sized based on inches around the palm, I wore a size eight. If you like mittens and don't have tiny hands, I think you will find these warm and cozy. I recommend.
These mittens are cute. I love the subtle design and neutral color. The lining is very soft and fluffy. I can't really tell how warm they will keep my hands but they are cozy. I got small and they are very small. I have unusually small hands and even the smallest of gloves are usually a bit big on me but these aren't. In fact, if my finger nails were longer, these might be a bit too small. The part that really bums me out is that one of the corners on the left glove is coming unstitched. I'm going to try to blind stitch it closed. I would have given 5 stars of the seam wasn't coming out on the one mitten.
I love these mittens! They are so soft and cozy, it’s like wrapping your hands in a warm blanket. The inside is super fluffy and keeps my fingers toasty, even when it's really cold outside. The outside looks cute too with the braided design, and they go great with my winter jacket. They’re a good size and stretch just enough to fit nicely. I like that the cuffs can be folded or left long for extra warmth. I wear them when I walk my dog or run errands, and my hands always stay warm.
I really like these winter mittens. They are thick and lined with soft fleece which feels cozy and warm. They are mainly made from acrylic, but they are warmer and tougher than my cashmere gloves. Plus, you can unroll the cuffs and keep your wrists warm. The knitting is on point except one pulled thread which I need to fix before it gets worse. The price is great! This is a great candidate for a Christmas stocking stuffer.
