This lighter/medium weight short sleeve knit is a great fit out of the box! Hubby carries weight in the belly (and has a hernia at the bellybutton) so he likes to minimize this area with wardrobe as much as possible- this is a really great top for this and he’s totally comfortable in it. See photos for comparison he is 6’ and 220, wears a xxl and 38 pants usually with some stretch. It’s definitely dressier than a t-shirt, ( it does have a slight sheen to the fabric fyi and some decent stretch) I’m not sure why these shirts are labeled this way nowadays.
These PJ brand T-SHIRTS are awesome. The fabric design is stylish made even more so my quality craftsmanship. I honestly think I’d be forking out a lot more for this type of product made to feel this way.Great shirt as an under-layer as much as it stands on its own.
This is MUCH more see through than the pictures indicate. It's honestly a bit misleading since the model has a darker complexion, but the shirt somehow appears much more solid. It's simply not. While the black and blue versions of this shirt looks fine on me, the white is practically see through, and I'm only a little tanned and nowhere near as dark as the model. That said, it's still a nice shirt. I would just advise you to wear some sort of WHITE undershirt if you want it to appear more solid.
This PJ PAUL JONES crewneck tee has a really nice slim-fit cut—especially if you’re built like a lot of Asian guys: wider shoulders, narrower waist, and not trying to swim in a boxy American T-shirt. The shape and style are actually really flattering, and it has that clean, fitted look you’d expect from a more expensive brand. But here’s where things get real. The quality control is hit-or-miss. Some stitching was already loose right out of the package, and a thread literally came off when I lightly pulled on it. Not deal-breaking, but definitely disappointing for a new shirt. Also, the fabric is very thin. If you like breathable, airy shirts that let wind pass through and keep you cool, you’ll probably love it. If you’re expecting thicker cotton or don’t want a slightly see-through shirt… this isn’t that.So here’s the breakdown:Pros• Excellent slim fit—ideal for athletic or tapered body types• Clean, simple design that works for everyday wear• Super breathable and lightweight (great in hot weather)Cons• Thin enough to be somewhat see-through• Loose stitching and quality control issues• Durability may not match the stylingFinal Verdict:A stylish, comfortable shirt with a great fit—just be aware of the thin fabric and inconsistent stitching. Perfect if you want something breezy and fitted, but probably not the choice if you want thick, premium cotton.
I’ve been wearing this PJ PAUL JONES ribbed crew-neck shirt in size 2XL, and as a big guy, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it fits. I’ve worn plenty of casual knit tops before, but this one has a more polished look that works nicely under a suit jacket when I want to skip the tie.Key Observations:The fabric has a soft, comfortable stretch, giving the 2XL a relaxed fit without feeling loose or tight. The ribbed texture adds a touch of elegance, making it look more refined than a basic T-shirt.It pairs well with a suit or blazer, especially for events where you want to look put-together but still stay comfortable. The neckline holds its shape well, though the material is slightly warm for hot days.Pros:Comfortable stretch and true 2XL fitDressy ribbed textureWorks great as a tie-free option under a suitCons:Runs a bit warm in hotter weatherRibbing may not appeal to those wanting a perfectly smooth lookBottom Line:A stylish, comfortable knit shirt that’s perfect for dressing up without the formality of a tie. Great for big men who want an easy, elegant layer that fits well under a suit or blazer.
This Paul Jones cable knit shirt is very lightweight for being cable knit. I wasn’t expecting the tee shirt to be so thick, but ended up growing to really like the texture.I ordered the Large that ended up being a little tight, though I have broad shoulders. I am used to having a knit or textured shirt like this to be an outer layer, so it took a while to get used to the feel. I really do like how soft and flexible the fabric is without being too shiny. It really has the look of a wool or heavier sweater, but in tee shirt form. With short sleeves, this will definitely be great for layering and not overheating in warmer weather.
I grabbed this PJ PAUL JONES cable knit tee and it instantly became one of my favorite shirts. The cable knit texture gives it a really clean, elevated look-almost like a lightweight sweater but with the comfort of a T-shirt. It's simple but has that little bit of detail that makes it stand out. The fit is spot-on. The crewneck sits nicely, the sleeves hold their shape, and the material feels soft with just enough stretch. It's comfortable for all-day wear, and it still looked great after washing-no shrinking, twisting, or fading. This is one of those shirts you can throw on with jeans or dress up with nicer pants and still look put together. If you want something casual but with a stylish edge, this tee is definitely worth it.
Nice looking knit T-shirt. Simple color that can go with many pants. The knit pattern is subtle but sophisticated.I was at the bottom size of the recommended range for my size and the fit worked well on the shoulders length. I don't fill it out as well as the model photo, but it still looks good. The neck is slightly snug while putting it on, so you just have to be careful not to stretch it out.
