I've only had this bench for a short while but wanted to post a review to address a couple of things that I saw in other reviews that made me hesitate before ordering this bench.I had read concerns that the bench was both to narrow and short for some people. The bench is long enough for me at 6 feet tall so that my head is fully on the bench in decline and all the way flat. If you are more than a couple inches taller or have a very long torso it may be too short if you want you head on the bench at all times.I also saw complaints about the locking pins being too loose. Both pins have a sprung bearing on the end that have enough tension to keep the pins in while still allowing you to pull them out with an easy pull. I have had no issues with them coming out while dragging it around my workout space or during use. Maybe they have improved the pins since earlier reviews.Overall I totally agree with a lot of the other reviews. For the money it is a great bench. Moderate padding and stability but that is more than offset by the great prices, compact design for storage when not in use, and easy set up.
I can't say enough good things about the LINODI Weight Bench! This bench has truly exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the build quality is outstanding. It feels incredibly sturdy and well-constructed, giving me complete confidence in its durability. I've used other weight benches in the past that felt wobbly or unstable, but the LINODI bench is rock-solid, even when lifting heavy weights. The design is thoughtful and functional. The adjustable backrest and seat positions make it easy to target different muscle groups during my workouts. Whether I'm doing incline presses, flat bench, or seated curls, this bench adjusts effortlessly to meet my needs.Comfort is another area where the LINODI bench shines. The padding on both the backrest and seat is comfortable and supportive. I never feel uncomfortable or sore, even during longer workout sessions.Assembly was a breeze, thanks to clear instructions and well-labeled parts. I had it put together in no time, and I'm not particularly handy with DIY projects. One of the standout features is the compact design. It doesn't take up a lot of space in my home gym, which is a huge plus for me. I can easily fold it up and store it away when it's not in use, freeing up valuable space.Overall, the LINODI Weight Bench is an excellent investment for anyone serious about their fitness. It's well-built, versatile, comfortable, and space-saving. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and it has become an essential part of my workout routine. If you're in the market for a weight bench, I highly recommend giving the LINODI bench a try. You won't be disappointed!
This is not an $850 Rogue adjustable bench, so it is beyond unfair to compare this bench to anything you would use in a commercial gym. That said, this thing is fantastic. Come about 90% assembled out of the box, the weld points looked good and the hinges and bolts and the like were well assembled and tightened. Ran it through a chest workout in the home gym culminating in a set of 80lb dumbbell incline bench at about a 40 degree angle. Sturdy throughout the lift, from the floor to the hinge between the seat and backrest to the actual backrest itself. Using it on a level concrete garage floor with 1/2" rubber mats. Probably not good for use on carpet. For context, I'm 5'7" 180 lbs.Hit some overhead dumbbell presses at 75 degree or so and everything was sturdy although the uppermost portion of the back foam gave to the rear a little at the top of the reps. Nothing concerning, didn't interrupt the workout or concern me it would break, but it's detectable.Hit some decline bench, it goes down about -10 degrees and it was sturdy throughout.Overall, fantastic purchase for the price, much nicer than I thought it would be. Highly recommend it.
Yeah, the quality seems good, it's comfortably held my large frame and some weights... though I don't lift nearly as much as I used to. The angle adjustment could maybe use a bit more resistance, it's a little bit loose, and if you get a bit sweaty the bench might stick to you as you sit up bringing the bringing the angle adjusting bit with you. Just pull a bungie cord around the adjustment mechanism and you're good to go. A solid bench for the price, but not gym quality.
