08-03-2026Bought this is a support for plants in my garden, and it worked exceptionally well. Very thick and sturdy, hold up well outside. I assume it would be great for fishing as well if you were catching a big fish.

08-03-2026After conducting extensive online research regarding the best options for keeping ants away from my hummingbird feeder (that is hanging from a shepard’s hook), I took a chance & opted for using a fishing line (“apparently” some online comments recommended hanging a hummingbird feeder with fishing line as a way to detour ants…).I used a string of this as the go-between w between my hummingbird feeder and shepherd’s hook.After a few days & not seeing 1 single hummingbird at my feeder, I went outside to check on the feeder…. From my kitchen window, it just looked like maybe I needed to move the hummingbird feeder….the feeder was full of dead ants floating in the sugar water - no wonder I did not see any hummingbirds…. From the kitchen window I could not see all of the dead ants….. (my placement of the shepard’s hook was far enough away from windows to prevent collisions, but as close as possible)While I imagine this fishing line material is ideal for fishing, my purpose for buying this was A TOTAL FAILURE….
