08-03-2026These split-shots are perfect for sinking the bait down. I recently just started fishing and bought them for my beginner's tackle box. They work as they are intended to and the different weights make them suitable for different conditions.The only 2 reasons I'm taking off a star is that:1) I find that I've only used the 3 heavier ones, and haven't found the conditions to use the lighter ones as they take longer to sink and aren't the best for conditions other than completely calm. But that could simply be due to my limited fishing experience.2) It's a little hard to open the split-shots once you've closed them. I've seen other brands (which I can't remember) that opened much easier.I would still recommend these. They're good bang for your buck.

08-03-2026My fault for not reading that it is split shot sinkers, however, they do the job well. I only fault them because they sometimes will close with a gap on the line and slide or not hold. I get around this by utilizing the split shot design and wrap the line around and squeeze both sides. However, I have lost the weight even doing this.

08-03-2026Purchased this as a starter for my wife's tackle box. A great value for the money. The assorted sizes are perfect. Easy to apply and if good quality. Functions as expected. My wife will be able to put these on with no help. Ability to use is very simple.

08-03-2026What a great starter or replacement kit. if you are like me you use this split shots until they look like a piece of gum that you are trying to get to somehow attach to your line. I now look forward to being able to actually recognize my fishing sinkers.
