ITS PERFECT! My daughter needed something better than just a plastic teether and I was debating wood or leather and this one is absolutely perfect for her. It’s harder for her to chew well, will help with jaw development, is lightweight, doesn’t collect hair like silicone does which is huge for me, and doesn’t get dirty as easily either! Go with this before you buy a silicone one, for sure!!
My baby loves this! I tied a little rag around it for extra grip, and it kept him more entertained than any other teether in our house! Definitely recommend!
Unique design. Fits great in baby's hand and I love that it is safe for him to chew on. Easy to clean as well!
I got this for my 5 month old.he doesn't seem to care for silicone teethers so I wanted to see how wood would work for him. He seems to not care much for it either, but he still uses it. It's a great quality maple wood, no splinters, and comes with advice on how to care for it to avoid breaking. This wasn't supposed to be delivered until around January 30th and I received it January 14th! So the company is amazing and got my order to me fast!Hopefully I'll find a teether he likes better than his fingers, but this still works wonderfully when I get him to use it.
Super simple, light, smooth, and exactly what I was looking for! It’s not as thick as it looks in the pictures, which is great because I was worried it would be too thick/bulky for my 8 month old to hold easily - it’s not and she loves it! We have tried all kinds of silicone teethers and everything else under the sun, but she really only seems to want to go to town on her crib rails! So this seemed to be a great substitute that will hopefully satisfy her need to chew on something harder.
Not a good product.its too big for my 6 month old baby to hold..she is not able to bite this teether..also it may hurt baby if they tap it on head.
If you’ve heard of the old clothespin suggestion for teething babies, this is that updated. Like so I had family members who swore by giving babies a wooden clothespin to teeth on. That scared me for many reasons so I researched and found this, so I gave it a try. And it’s fantastic, my son loves it and he can hold it himself with me having to watched him so he doesn’t gag himself like I would’ve had to with a clothespin. There are slopes areas that allow him to rub and gnaw on his sore gums. This also doubles as a toy to bang on things as most babies find anything to hit against something to make noise haha. Love that it’s made in the USA and all natural to boot since everything seems to be made in China and plastic anymore.
My son enjoys the teether and gnaws on it constantly. I like that it came with simple care instructions and smells like fresh wood. He is 6 months old and it fits fine in his little hands and mouth.
I bought this after reading reviews, and the quality is definitely good, smooth, sturdy, and safe. The price is a little on the higher side, but we wanted to try a natural teether for our baby. My baby didn’t like it much, but every baby is different, so it may work well for others. I still appreciate that it’s made in the USA and feels safer than plastic options.

About Schoolhouse Naturals Teethers - Maple Landmark, Made in USA
Maple Landmark - Schoolhouse Naturals Teethers
About Maple Landmark
Before there was plastic hardwood maple teethers were the best for babies. No splinters off this teether that is sanded smooth to the touch, mouth and gums. Durable for all! Unfinished. You will receive ONE teether.
Product Care Instructions: The teether may be used as is, or you may chose to apply a non-spoiling, food-grade oil for additional protection. Wash by wiping with warm soapy water. Do NOT soak wood products in water or put in dishwasher as they may dry unevenly, causing the wood to be rough and even crack.
Our natural teether is the perfect answer to concerns over toxic chemicals and finishes.
This maple teether measures about 3.5" in diameter by 0.6" thick and are only available unfinished. Rounded and sanded smooth to the touch and to the mouth and gums. Large enough for babies to get their hands and arms around and small enough to be comfortable in the mouth.
Our Schoolhouse Naturals Teethers are unfinished as are all products in the Schoolhouse Naturals line.
