08-03-2026Some days this is the lure and some days its not. Depends on what the fish want of course so not going to give it a bad rating because of that. Lately I have found the Ultra Light (UL) brown trout has been doing better but this was good earlier on in the season. I would definitely add this to your arsenal.

08-03-2026I bought a handful of these when Rapala first released them. I had been fusing the Rapala CD-5 in perch & Rainbow trout pattern for many years in CT, VT, NH, NY, & MA lakes, streams & rivers with great success on Trout and Smallmouth, Largemouth, Perch, Walleye & a few other species.This lure does even better than the CD-5! I think it may be the thinner & more realistic body. From average stocked. I will always have this lure in my bag of tricks. All the patterns/Colors work very well, but if i had to pick just one it would have to be the Rainbow.tight lines!-
