Went Ice fishing and this line did not disapoint, great purchase!
1st time using ice line , seemed to spool on well and work as intended
Great line
Ordered 4 lb line by accident but why send back the price was right and who knows I might be able to use it
Best ice mono ive ever used! Plus the neon green is very cool looking!
It's pretty good and works better to keep ice off the line than regular fishing line, but ice still gets on it. Oh well, better than normal line still!
Trilene ice has always been my go to for panfish smooth and low memory
Excellent la glace colle pas
Caught some nice crappies perch and bluegills on this line is performed well.
I’ve used this line ever since it came out. Love it.
As an avid ice angler, I've had the opportunity to test various fishing lines over the years, but none have quite impressed me like the Berkley Trilene Micro Ice. This line stands out as a game-changer in the realm of ice fishing, offering unmatched performance and reliability in cold weather conditions. What sets the Berkley Trilene Micro Ice apart from its competitors is its exceptional sensitivity. The ultra-thin diameter and low stretch design allow anglers to detect even the slightest nibble or movement beneath the ice, ensuring prompt hook sets and maximizing catch rates. This sensitivity is crucial when targeting finicky panfish or elusive walleye in the depths.Durability is another hallmark of the Trilene Micro Ice line. Despite its thin diameter, this line exhibits impressive strength and abrasion resistance, allowing anglers to confidently battle trophy-sized fish without fear of break-offs or fraying. Its tough construction withstands the rigors of ice fishing, including abrasive ice edges and sharp structures, ensuring reliable performance throughout the fishing season. One of the standout features of the Berkley Trilene Micro Ice is its low-memory design. Unlike traditional fishing lines that tend to retain memory in cold temperatures, causing frustrating tangles and coils, the Micro Ice maintains its suppleness and manageability even in sub-zero conditions. This attribute translates to smoother casts, effortless handling, and fewer line management issues on the ice.Furthermore, the Trilene Micro Ice boasts excellent visibility, thanks to its crystal-clear coloration. This high-visibility line allows anglers to easily track their presentations and detect subtle strikes, even in low-light conditions or murky water. The enhanced visibility enhances confidence and allows for precise lure control, resulting in more successful outings on the ice. While the Berkley Trilene Micro Ice excels in many aspects, it's not entirely immune to freezing in extremely cold conditions. Ice buildup on the line can occur, particularly in frigid temperatures, requiring periodic line management and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. In summary, the Berkley Trilene Micro Ice stands as a top-tier choice for ice fishing enthusiasts seeking superior sensitivity, durability, and manageability in their fishing line. Its outstanding performance and reliability make it a staple in my ice fishing arsenal, and I highly recommend it to fellow anglers looking to elevate their cold-weather fishing experience.
Product is fine, but this colour isn't what I ordered. At time of order:Product name and image specifically said Colour = 'Clear Steal'.It STILL says 'Clear Steal', but the image has since changed to 'Solar' (being NOT clear, but bright green). The detailed description say 'Solar', but who now knows what is right or wrong.I separately ordered and received a 'Clear Steal' under a different listing... but even that listing now says 'Solar' as well as per above, in the description only.Very annoying.
I ice fish for yellow perch 4-5 days a week and there is no limit on the number you can keep so some days we fill numerous pails. I’ve been using 4lb test for a decade now and it’s the best line for the money. I’ve pulled 10-12lb pike, 8-10lb lakers, and even managed to get a 50”+ muskie to the hole on this line. Highly recommend!!
