08-03-2026Always use Berkeley triline for fishing leaders! It is the go-to fishing line by many fishermen! And you can get it here on Amazon. I wonder whatever happened to the Gold version instead of green? Maybe you can find out?

The strength is excellent—it handles big catches without breaking and resists abrasions when fishing around rocks, brush, and underwater debris.Casting is smooth and effortless, which makes it easy to get consistent distance without annoying tangles. The line memory is minimal, so I haven’t experienced coiling or kinks even after longer periods on the reel.I also appreciate how well the color blends in the water for more subtle presentations. The spool size is generous, giving plenty of line for multiple rigs. This has become my go-to for both freshwater and light saltwater fishing.

08-03-2026This line doesn't hold color the best but it was cheap. It doesn't have a ton of stretch and it doesn't burn when tying knots but for your average, just having fun, fishing line Id say it works.

08-03-2026I've been using this line for 20 years or so. I've explored other lines but none have been better than it. It combines toughness and softness in a way other lines can't. I couldn't find it in stock anywhere this spring and all my reels needed fresh line - I had to find a similar option and neither were satisfactory. I've found that the Low-Vis Green makes a huge difference in strikes - I've used it side-by-side with my fishing buddy and the difference was notable. The best value for the price in my book.
