08-03-2026This is a great largemouth bass lure that I use for late fall fishing here in New England. This particular lure (shad rap 6) broke the first day I used it. The clear plastic part cracked when I bounced the lure on the surface of the water attempting to remove some weeds I hooked. It may have been defective. I purchased a shad rap 9 that seems to be a bit more durable. It also seems to be getting more hits.

08-03-2026Smallmouth love to eat crawdad's. If the lake has crawdad's they will kill this bait. I lost this one after a huge smallie snapped my line and swam off with it. Northern's will also eat this.
