This is a great cup. My 9-year-old tolerates this much better than the traditional cups like the shock Dr. - Uses this to play baseball
My kid says it is more comfortable than the regular plastic one. Not sure about durability or smell.
I bought compression shorts that came with a cup for my son. The cup it came with bothered him soo much!! It was his first time ever wearing a cup and he hated it! Said it was too hard, poking him, etc. I bought him this comfy cup and he absolutely loves it! Says it fits way better and softer around the edges. I’ve gotten no complaints from him about it. Still gives him some protection, maybe not quite as much but it still gets the job done
Bought for my grandson for football
My 9 year old son was very uncomfortable in his other cup for baseball. I purchased this, since it advertised being more comfortable for kids. They were spot on. Still offers the same level of protection, but my son said it is comfortable and he forgets he has it on. I don’t recall what I paid, but it was worth every penny. It will fit for more seasons to come.
Worked well for my 10 year old, stayed in place and did the job.
For 10 year old, almost 11, son who plays baseball. Bought since he thought ones from sports stores were uncomfortable. He didn't like these, didn't think they felt soft or more comfortable and preferred the ones from local sports store. We keep it as a back up. Protects his parts just fine, he just doesn't like it.
For my 11 year old, he said they are comfortable
One of my sons teammates got nailed pretty hard with a soccer ball in the groin area during a game. At the U9 level (8 year olds) the boys are learning to kick the ball harder. We started investigating cups to offer some protection to my son should this happen to him. My son seems comfortably wearing this for soccer. We chose the underwear with the front cup pocket for him to wear it with rather than the typical jock straps. Only issues we have had are on tournaments where he does a lot of running in one day...he complains of some chaffing. Tournaments are pretty rare and I imagine this would be an issue no matter which cup we were using. I was surprised at how strong it felt.
This cup is the second- most comfortable we found in our quest for a cup. My son is extremely picky and sensitive to things in general (ADD) so we went through several cups to find one he could stand to use for 2+ hours at a time. This ranked #2, and is used as a back up if the preferred one can't be found (he takes it off immediately and sometimes that means it's not where it should be, especially after a late game). He is 9 and wears it with shock doctor shorts.Overall pretty good and comfortable. Suitable for low contact sports. If he was catching we would have put more effort into finding a hard cup that he could wear, but for a soft cup it works well.
Wasn’t sure about witch one to choose from, found this gem! Soft enough for my kid, giving the protection needed at this young age. I recommended to all young boy starting to play baseball and need a cup!
We almost gave up trying cups because they were so uncomfortable so we decided to try this one as our last resort and i am so thankful we did because my son loves it. He says its not uncomfortable at all and doesn't push up into his body like the others. For a seven year old to say that means it's actually a good cup, highly recommend.
I am so happy with this purchase. My son did not like the original that came with his martial arts equipment. I wanted something with the flexibility and protection and this was better than I expected. My son is 9 and he says it's extremely comfortable and can't feel it like his other. Another bonus is he thinks it's a cool color. No regrets on this purchase and would recommend to others to purchase for their child's sports.

Little Leaguer Kyler Russell knocked one out of the park with the youth athletic cup he created for boys like him. Comfy Cup provides light protection in a comfortable—and kid-friendly—design. Unlike the typical hard plastic versions, Comfy Cup is soft and flexible. It’s molded from pliable foam that contours to the body, and has a breathable mesh lining. Its scaled-down size and light impact protection make it the perfect first athletic cup for school-aged kids just getting started with contact sports. Kyler loved baseball, but hated the mandatory cup he had to wear. His parents encouraged him to channel his complaints into creating an alternative. With some help from Mom and Dad, and after testing prototypes out on his teammates, Kyler created this smarter, softer solution.
