I purchased this product upon Doctors & pharmacists recommendations but I'm not comfortable giving my baby a product that contains sunflower oil.Its just sitting there on the shelf.
Very good product, helps to prevent colic and treat gassy babies. 2nd purchase you use the drops in the bottle with bubbles and watch as the product takes all the bubbles away. Super small but impact is mighty! Lasts a long time
I rarely write reviews but I thought it would be a good time to do it because I love the product. My son just turned three months old this past week and has digestive problems since day one. We noticed right off the bat that he always struggled to go to the bathroom and was always gassy. Around 6 weeks we noticed mucus and blood in his stool. We went in for a checkup that day and they suggested that he had a Cows milk protein allergy. My two options were to change to a dairy, free diet or go on a special formula diet. I have really enjoyed breast-feeding so I took the option of going dairy free which seemed to help only minimally. Fast forward another eight weeks; He is still experiencing discomfort, gas and reflux. We were referred to a specialist where they just reiterated that it is a cow’s milk protein allergy. I was struggling as a first time mom not knowing how to make my baby feel better while also dealing with postpartum depression, so I finally took the advice of a mom in my mom’s group to start him on a probiotic. I didn’t think it was gonna make such a difference , but it really was night and day. He was on the probiotic drops for about two weeks when our dog got a hold of the drops while we were out of the house one day I thought OK let’s just let it go for now, but that was the week from hell. He was fussy, angry, and upset all the time fast forward to 3 days ago when I finally re-order the drops and he’s now been on them for 24 hours and I have seen an improvement in his attitude and his bowel movements. Thanks, Cooper . I highly recommend these drops for any new parent dealing with a fussy, gassy colicky baby especially a baby with a cow’s milk protein allergy, obviously talk to your doctor to see if this is the right option for you, but it was for us, and I am so glad we purchased these drops. We will be re-ordering time, and time again.
Great for colic babies. It has been working very well
Good probiotic. My baby didn’t have any problems with it, but expensive for the amount you get.
My daughter is about to be 4 months and has been going through severe constipation for about 2-3 weeks now. I’ve given her prune and apple juice and nothing has worked. After reading multiple reviews on this product, I took a chance and bought it. Within 24 hours of using it, she had a normal bowel movement with zero pain!
I just wanted to share how much BioGaia Baby has helped our little one! As a new parent, I was really stressed about my baby’s fussiness and digestive issues. After chatting with our pediatrician, we decided to give BioGaia Baby a try, and I’m so glad we did!First off, I love that it has clean ingredients. It’s free from allergens, dairy, soy, gluten, sugar, and any artificial stuff. Knowing that my baby is getting something safe and natural really puts my mind at ease.Since we started using it, there’s been a noticeable change. My baby seems much more comfortable, and those colic and gas episodes have reduced significantly. It’s such a relief to see them happy and at ease!I can’t recommend BioGaia Baby enough! If you’re dealing with a fussy baby, definitely consider giving this a shot. It’s been a total game-changer for us!
Es muy bueno para los cólicos
This is the best, I spent the first months of my baby without sleeping until I met these probiotics they are too good they remove all the gases and I helped my baby by taking everything out
I bought this thinking it was vitamins D, it is actually probiotic. My baby has never pooped so much in his life. This product is amazing if you are looking for that. Easy to administer and good value.
Hilft sehr
My 3 month old, who is mostly breastfed, was gassy and hadn’t passed stool for a few days. Our pediatrician recommended this product, and it worked great! I mixed it with pumped milk, and my baby took it easily. He passed stool and seemed much more comfortable afterward - very happy with the results!
I looked up something specifically for getting baby poo to be hydrated and not dry and clumpy or wet diarrhea. Because he was on Mary Ruth baby probiotics and they didn't help with anything at all. There's two strains that help with what I needed for my 6 week old that is combo fed but mostly on Enfamil Gentlease Neuropro Optimum at this point- and those are BB-12 and DSM 17938 probiotics. I only found the specific DSM strain in BioGaia and the other strain in Culturelle baby probiotics. However I think DSM is the one with strongest evidence. So I paired the two. I gave him full doses of both on day 1 and he screamed his head off with gas from the bacteria colonizing in his gut. It was unfortunately the sacrifice I was willing to make to get his little gut healthier. Day 2 he was fussing after half dosing him with both, as I only full dosed to get things started. On day 2 his poop was not horrible dry paste anymore but it wasnt the best still. Day 3 poop changed to a better color and was more hydrated than day 2. No more shrieking from the probiotics. Day 4 his poop was soft serve and he barely had gas. He slept 4 hour stretches all night and didn't wake up in agony like he used to before the probiotics. He has been getting half doses since day 2 and his stomach is so much better. I'm pleased with this product. Also daytime is better too, he isn't wailing from stomach pain anymore. I kind of wish I had done this from when he was born, I probably would have saved both of us grief.Edit: he is 2 months old now with perfect yellow soft serve poop that's a bit seedy. He also has been fully formula fed for a while now, meaning the probiotics have his poop looking like BREASTMILK poop! That is amazing. 2 weeks worth of probiotics got his gut working great. He sleeps 5 hour stretches all night and doesn't wake up in terror with gas and his poop no longer looks like green dry paste. Once again I am giving him Culturelle AND this product at half doses everyday, not just biogaia.Edit 3: 3.5 months and his poop is still yellow and seedy. And it smells like yogurt- lol. So these probiotics are key to keeping his poop perfect. It's gross but his poop is perfectly moist- it isn't watery and it isn't dry and nearly a matte chalk texture. My initial issue was his body just didn't hydrate his poop enough so he was constipated and in horrific pain, and it was pretty much solved within a month of using these with Culturelle. It is pricey though... but worth it. Also after a month of using he stopped having gas pains and he farts pretty efficiently now
