I recently ordered these again but this time the ones I received are very difficult to put on my hands. They stick together and have to be pried open. When I'm preparing food the last thing I need is to stuggle getting these gloves on. Maybe they're old and have been compressed too long in the box. Also, they seem a bit thinner then the previous ones I purchased. Disappointed in the quality now, and they just aren't worth the money.
My wife uses these in the kitchen every day. She loves them. They offer great hand protection and are sturdy enough for one or two uses. They are not form fitting so if that is important, look elsewhere.
I've tried many different brands of poly gloves from Amazon. This is the first one that hasn't been a total disappointment. The length is great, about an inch or so longer than most of the typical poly gloves which is very helpful in keeping them from falling down. They haven't leaked yet when I have been using them. The slide on easily and don't rip on the seams between the fingers like some other brands do. Great for cleaning, pumping gas or doing the cat litter. Would certainly consider purchasing these again.
Finally found these disposable gloves that will actually cover around the wrist!! The others I had were so short, I'd get my palms yucky. These cover the wrists and I'll get again!
I've used a lot of food service gloves over the years and these aren't my favorite, but they are good enough and the price is the best I've found recently so I'd still recommend them. They just aren't quite as large or quite as thick as some of the food service gloves I prefer but a lot of those have become really hard to get during this pandemic so this is a good substitution for now.
Making meatballs? Putting oil and seasoning on some vegetables, and now you have to mix and toss? There are just some cooking tasks where using your hands is the best option. Before buying these gloves I would either do these tasks with my bare hands (washing thoroughly before and after, of course), or I would do them very clumsily with a spoon or other tool. Now I just put on some gloves, make meatballs, and throw the gloves out. There's some guilt because it's a bit wasteful, but it's worth it.Also, these are terrific for situations where you want to eat with your hands. Got some fried chicken with sticky sauce all over it? Got some BBQ ribs? If you put on these gloves you can eat without having to even think about wetnaps. And even though I use them somewhat frequently, this supply is enormous. A restaurant might burn through these boxes in no time, but a household will probably take years to go through all of these. Well worth it.
These gloves are exactly what I was looking for. I use these for emptying my ostomy bag. I really didn't want to touch the ostomy bag with bare hands. I needed something very affordable but I could still trust. I found these are perfect for my use.Every now and again one will tear when putting it on but it rarely happens. I have fairly big hands and the "one size fits most aka OSFM" fit just fine. They go up the wrists more than any other glove I can find, so my watch is safe. They fit with comfort, they aren't slippery, and the thickness is perfect for my application.
A much better food handling glove than the previous ones I was using. The previous ones were tight and hard to get on especially with wet hands. These are very light and loose. And cheap. I commonly use two or three pair during meal preparation. For example, yesterday I donned them for (1) preparing a salmon fillet for baking, (2) preparing the graham cracker crust for a dessert, (3) chopping serrano peppers for jambalaya (to keep the juice out of eyes). I really suffer in the kitchen without these.
