Came earlier than expected. 1yr old loves it. Just switched from puramino infant. Expiration date were 6mons out
Have a child with special needs and trying to gain weight, which this has helped, but the problem is finding it. There are times I can find it, but there are criminal companies that have doubled and tripled the cost.
My daughter is 3 and has a sensitivity to lactose. She gets very colicky with conventional formulas. This PurAmino Junior Hypoallergenic drink is a great middle ground for her toddler years to slowly wean off of milk altogether. It is made of non-GMO ingredients, so it reserves some natural quality to the mix. There is taurine, soy oil and sunflower oil listed as part of the ingredients though, which isn't the healthiest of ingredients in my opinion. It's something to settle with as part of a hypoallergenic regimen. My daughter loves the taste of this formula as soon as we first tried it. She drinks it faster than fresh lactose free cow's milk. It must be sweeter or creamier.I would recommend this for toddlers who are truly allergic to milk. For those with a simple hypersensitivity, I would give other, more natural options a true consideration.
Got it for my nephew, he seems like it. Great value, no side effect.
Read carefully the caption versus the picture. Caption says Vanilla but the picture is unflavor. I ordered 4 cans thought i ordered the unflavor but its actually vanilla. And unable to ask for replacement.
Our son has not been diagnosed as lactose-intolerant, but normal milk does seem to upset his stomach. And he is also allergic to some other foods. So when I saw this PurAmino Junior formula, I wanted to try it to see if it would be a good choice for him. This is the vanilla flavor, but you can also order an unflavored version. I have tried both, and he does seem to prefer the vanilla one. But so far he has not had an upset stomach or any allergic reactions to either flavor, so I'm happy with the results so far. Although this formula is very expensive compared to other brands, I plan to keep ordering it for my son.
My daughter has a milk protein intolerance and this has been a life saver. She was on the unflavored infant formula and unfortunately was not able to take any store bought alternatives after she turned one as we hoped. The vanilla smells great, literally hands down the best smelling formula ever. Even my babysitter commented on it. My daughter seems to enjoy it as well. The unflavored infant formula smelled like chemicals to me so the vanilla is a vast improvement.
This review is for PurAmino Junior Hypoallergenic Toddler DrinkMy sister found out that my nephew has some food allergies and it seemed that he was also lactose intolerant. As a little baby he had awful colic which was eventually linked to the fact that he was drinking milk and it was making him uncomfortable. Since then, my sister stopped breastfeeding and was only giving him soy formula which completely changed his personality and demeanor for the better. So now that he’s getting older and just turned 1 she has been looking for dairy alternative toddler drinks so I got her this to try for him.I was there when she opened it and she said the nutritional facts look good and it didn’t contain anything that should cause him trouble. It smells good but she did try a small sip herself and said it was pretty gross. But the nephew drank it with no issues which is the main person we are tying to please here. This stuff is extremely expensive and I know that’s common with anything that’s lactose free but I feel like there are definitely cheaper options. You’re just going to have to figure out what’s right for your kiddo and go from there. We got 4 containers of it and it should last a long time before she needs to decide to buy more or find something else.
