Exactly what I needed. A mount that was as slim, yet study as possible. Very easy to install. I was a bit nervous about how well this would hold and planned to use the screwed into some studs but for where I needed to mount none of the studs lined up with the holes. The TV has been up for several months with no problems. There is another brand that was less expensive. The product was similar but it didn't have the locking mechanism. I bought this one for that feature to ensure the TV doesn't get bumped off its track/hanger.
So easy! Wish I had purchased sooner instead fretting over whether it would work or not. My husband had it up and TV mounted in 15 minutes max - probably quicker. For those not worried about being able to pull TV outstretched and rotating for viewing but also dont want to put huge mounting holes in the wall... this is it! Easy level, easy mount, easily holds 55 in TV.
Super easy to install, amazing durability and low profile! For reference my TV is a 55" Vizio about 5yrs old so it's a bit heavier than the newer ones. Where I live (apartment) the walls a pretty much useless to actually try and drill or screw anything into them, even with anchors the drywall is brittle and cracks so I wasn't sure how this would hold up but figured why not try it, if It doesn't work all I have to do is patch the small holes and you won't even be able to tell I tried. So glad I did! I did use 2 different levels to make sure it stayed perfectly level and I started from the outside holes and worked my way inwards, I used the level each time I put a nail in and the built in level on the mount helps A LOT but you just have to make sure you are constantly checking the level, otherwise you could end up with issues.Even with the levels it's super easy to install, once the wall brackets up, you just put the brackets on the back of your TV, make sure tho you plug the HDMI, cat cables or anything else that gets plugged in the BACK of the TV; is done before you try to hang it, otherwise once the TV is up they aren't getting plugged in unless you take it down again. LolIf you have a smaller TV (40" or under) and your confident in holding/balancing that weight then you can probably make this a 1 person job; however if you have a larger TV 2 people is a must in order to get it positionrd in the wall mount and centered properly and locked (if you choose to lock it in place).Since my TV is larger I have not had any issues with the bracket sliding around in the wall mount as some others have stated BUT if you have a small or lighter weight TV I would def use the lock function on the mount.Absolutely would recommend this to anyone, especially people looking for renter friendly TV mounts.
I have bought this twice now. Very easy to install and withstands a 55 inch tv.The only downside is when youre taking it down because of all the little holes in the wall but I knew that was an issue when I got it so meh.
Amazing product easy to install and solid
I liked everything about this wall mount (for drywall). It's a brilliant concept that makes life so much easier. The wall where I needed to hang my 55" TV had the studs in the wrong place, so to speak. Using a more traditional mount that required affixing the brackets to studs would have ended up making the TV well off center in the intended space. But this mount designed for drywall mounting was the perfect solution and I have confidence in it, even though I live in 'earthquake land.' It was a breeze to assemble and mount, thanks to excellent (and humorous) instructions that made me smile. There is also a video available. This is a company with PERSONALITY and they don't mind showing it. The parts were sturdy, well made, and of highest quality, despite a very competitive price. You need not be a handyman or handywoman to complete the installation. If you can hammer nails, and read a level (BUILT IN to the rail), you can put this up on your wall in a few minutes. Note that it is recommended to have someone help lift the TV onto the bracket, and I agree. It's can be done solo, but no sense in risking it unless you're fairly strong, not height-challenged, and have a long reach. The principle of why this wall mount works is simple physics--the angle of the nails driven into the wall, and the angle of the bracket compensates for the weight of the TV. By the way, they also include hardware for mounting to wood or cement. They really thought of everything.
Easy to installHas held my 50 inch TV with no issues would definitely buy again
Easy to install, no issues. Provided all the screws needed. Just double check the level with your own to make sure it is working properly. All in all I recommend the product.
This made mounting my 50” Toshiba TV really easy. My husband and I had it up in about 15 minutes. It seems very sturdy
This was easy to mount and works great, but I’m giving it 4 stars because the built-in level was off. Make sure to use a separate level when mounting this or you’ll end up with a crooked tv!
The Echogear no stud wall mount is well made and easy to install. All necessary hardware is included. I am an elderly woman and managed to hang a 32 inch older TV by myself. The only misstep I made was I screwed the bracket to the back of the TV upside down. Needless to say it would not attach to the wall bracket. I realized my mistake and unscrewed the bracket from my TV then turned it to face the correct side up. After correcting my mistake the bracket fit on the wall mount with no problem. I then looked at the picture on the site and it shows the correct way to attach the bracket to the TV. Guess I should have taken notice of this picture in the first place. Very happy with the results.
It makes a lot of holes but they are all small and will be easy to conceal if I ever have to take the mount down. On balance, this is the easiest to install and least problematic TV wall mount I have ever used.
Second time I have ordered cause it’s so easy to set up and holds the tv very well! Keeps the tv very close to the wall so making a fake frame tv is much easier! Also no having to find the studs, small holes so it’s good for apartments and renting! We have a 75” TV and a 65” TV and it holds up no problems!
