These are not very well built rods or reel combos. Rod broke during a cast, reel lost some of its trim pieces. Other rods front tip (eyelid tip) came off as well During cast. I would say these would be good for one trip of fishing but that’s when this all happened. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for other, more competently built rod combos, even if they cost a bit more.

Great rods if you want something light weight and doesn't take up alot of space. Bought for my teenage daughter and her boyfriend as they wanted to try out fishing. So they went out and used them and have no complaints.

Got it for my brother for Father’s Day and he loved it

This was an awesome little kit. We brought it camping and once I showed my boys how to remove the old hook and tie on a new one using the provided tool they were back and forth to the lake with little fishing stories, it was great. I went with the first handful of times, but it was really cool seeing them go out on their own. This kit has everything you need to just go out and fish, highly recommend.

I am not wasting my time posting photos blahblah blah. Im only leaving a review to save some others....My two poles came in that I order for the kids and right out of the gate it was horrible. We love to fish. Grew up on the water. Raising my kids on the water. 5 and 7 years old. My eldest has been using open cast for a couple years already. Not even a pro could use this one because its made of flemsy plastic and maybe aluminum and on his FIRST CAST THE END EYE ROCKETED OFF and it was over......Second pole, the reel is so poorly made it cannot hardly function without tangled garbage. I bought new line. I added weight to the line to help with the line not having enough tension, but the weight of 2 small led weights for Brim fishing, was almost too much for the reel to bare. We have good fishing poles. These were back up poles for extra family and if my 7 yr old went to the river alone, if something happened to the pole its not 300 dollars gone. Im just saying for 30 bucks... Go to walmart get an ugly stick. These are worth about 5 dollars. Also, you can see where they used some sort of cheap glue for the eyes all the way down each pole. All I can say is that I am glad santa brought the botched gift, not me!!!

Handles are a little short but overall, it's ok for any kids or beginners then as you like fishing you can know what pole to use and go for it.

Look like a good begginers rod

You get what you paid for it’s honestly kinda pricey for kids toys but honestly everything is just getting expensive. So it is what it is. Obviously cheat plastic. Yes easy to assemble.Very light weight. Yes everything it’s says it comes with I received everything.
