i love it so much it’s incredibly comfy to write with mechanically very hefty in a good way. The finish started to rub away though and the brass is showing through but still looks good

Look & writing though good but the click is not smooth as one expects from such penUpdate on 28th April. I haven't written more than 200 alphabets & pen has stopped working, which makes me think that seller had sent me a used product.

I bought this pen on March 5th, 2023; you can see how much of the flat black paint has worn off exposing possibly just a gold pen painted black, maybe that's why the black is $5.00 more than the gold, not sure.What I am sure of is the quality of this pen is the best I've ever used; I've mostly used other higher priced brands which I normally lost before wearing them out. Somehow, I managed to hang on to this one.Listening to other reviews I also purchased the Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 medium refills. The reviews were correct.If you're looking for a decent pen for a decent price, take a look at this one.

Build is great and I love the feel of the knurling grip. There's just a few issues that require some fixes for this to be my daily driver. The included refill is pretty mediocre, there's plenty of good quality refills out there. I switched it out right away. There's two points of rattling in the pen. The End button/plunger and the tip wiggle. The tip wiggle can be fixed by a new refill and some tape around the spring area but the end button is a harder fix and is really the luck of the draw if your pen rattles or not. After these adjustments, it's been a great every day writer for me.

Still one of the highest quality writing instruments you can buy. In a day and age where companies are cutting quality left and right to maintain margins, it's really nice to know this pen is as good or better than the same I bought in the early 90s. Mine is in a satin finished silver and several years old now, but shows absolutely no signs of wear and remains beautiful, in a very contemporary sense.The pen is perfectly sized and wonderfully comfortable.Though quite slim, the pen's gripping area is finely crosshatched, in no way abrasive, and provides a totally non-slipgrip.
