This mic is honestly really good. The quality shows and its cheaper to. If you're a singer then this thing is perfect as long as you use decent music production software or something that allows for compression or has noise gates.

The MAONO XLR condenser microphone delivers clear and detailed audio, making it ideal for podcasting, streaming, or home recording. The build feels sturdy, and it comes with all the necessary accessories for easy setup with an audio interface or mixer. The microphone picks up vocals very clearly, with minimal background noise, though proper placement and a pop filter can help enhance sound quality even more. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for professional-level recording at a reasonable price.

Quality condenser microphone. Professional sound. 48v applicable Wind screen may be a little flexible, Clamped arm is lightweight yet solid enough to do the job. Could be better. Works great!

This mic works very well for voice recording. I had previously purchased a Maono Dynamic mic, but it didn't pick up the subtleties of my voice. This condenser mic does the trick. I'm running it through a Roland Rubix24 into my laptop, and using Ableton Lite. My voice sounds really good. Not tinny at all. I've used a Blue Bird mic in the past, and I'd be hard pressed to find a difference just by listening to the two back-to-back. It does pick up background sound, which is great for picking up even soft-spoken/singing vocals; but, does pick up potential unwanted background noise. Just make sure you're in a quiet environment. The boom arm is stiff right out of the box. I moved it through it's full range of motion by hand before putting it in the mount. This helped with the movement. It worked really well after that. And as with most things, take care of it and it'll take care of you. Extremely happy with the purchase.

Originally, this seemed like a great "Why not?" purchase, because if it did not work I was not out that much money and at least had a decent boom arm with pop-filter.Well, after two or three days the mic crapped out. I plugged it into the Zoom H6, I have phantom power turned on, and when I plugged it in I heard a loud noise and then silence. The actual quality of the mic was not bad for this price point, especially if you used it in a treated space or a closet full of clothes. As for the construction quality of the boom arm and pop-filter are good, not amazing, but I am pleased for what I paid. If the mic did not crap out after a few days I would have given this 4 stars, maybe even 5 because of the value. Not sure what else to say! I wish it did still worked!**UPDATED**Just a few hours after writing this, using the exact same setup, the mic started working to the same quality as it did prior. After this, I increased my review from 2 to 4 stars, because (1) for a cheap mic it sounds good, (2) while I would not rely on this as your sole mic it is a good addition for budding podcasters/vloggers, and (3) eh... "why not?"

Didn’t know what to think about this microphone. So I bought it and was completely blown away by the sound! Now the stand is another story. Not impressed with the stand. Buy a heavy duty stand and use this one for a hat rack. Buy this package deal for the mic. Trust me on this one. Great microphone and decent xlr to boot.

This is my first XLR Mic, and so far I'm impressed. Been using it about a week and have recorded a voice over and a video using it. The quality you get from an XLR is about three steps better than the best USB I've tried. When paired with a decent mixing board, this is a whole new level of audio.Sound is clean and clear. It doesn't pick up much ambient noise from the room, either. Mic faces the front and picks up in a fairly wide angle. Doesn't miss much, even when I'm sitting back a few feet. Also, I was able to keep my ceiling fan on during a recording and still did not have to do much editing in post. Saves so much time. The mic has a decent weight and is solid. The springy holder thing is sturdy AND does a good job of absorbing shock. Filter is pretty standard, but I'm glad it came with it. One thing I am really pleased the mount (including the arm). The piece that connects to the desk is much better than the one I've been using - full metal with nice padding. The arm can reach all the way across the desk AND it tightens up to stay exactly where I want it. No wiggling or sagging. All around, the quality is great.I've used numerous USB mics in the past (including one from MAONO), and I will never go back. XLR all the way!

After using PM320S microphone for about 2 Month its the best micro i have ever use.I bought it to see if I could get better audio when recording sound on a Zoom H6 . Plugged it in my laptop and instant access. Picks up well, nice little echo feature too. An its very nice for studio setup but neither am I so it's a good fit. The mic is great in all ways! The mic is built strong, the sound is crisp clear, great echo feature. I love this mic, it’s the perfect size and weight! Would be good for streaming, video calls, broadcasting, recording music
