I like to annotate my books and I write very small in my journal, so I was looking for the smallest pens that I could find. This size is perfect for me. They write beautifully, the ink is dark, and the flow is consistent. They’re easy to hold and the ink doesn’t smear as long as you let it dry down for a few second. Out of the six pack, one broke. The ink flowed everywhere into my pen holder, but the others were perfectly fine. I would recommend setting them either on their sides or with the pen tip upright to avoid any issues that may come up.
I refuse to use any other pen. When I’m at work and need to sign something, I will go out of my way to grab one of these bad boys if offered something else.I started using these in high school and havent looked back since. The comfort with writing, the ease of writing on paper in a smooth and even flow, there’s nothing else on the market (in the US at least) that matches the quality. The ink sometimes can smear if you’re really gunning it but it takes seconds to dry and don’t get that black mark on the edge of my hand when I’m finished writing something up.I usually use the 0.7mm but they also have 0.35mm and wow that is probably as thin as you can get without ripping the paper. In the wise words of famous NASCAR driver, Ricky Bobby:“if you don’t use a Pilot G-2.. F*** you”
best pens i’ve ever used
These pens, especially the Ultra Fine Point, 0.38mm, Black Ink ones are superb. Their lines are consistent, never a break in the flow, and if I need to fill in a small space with writing that is small, the precision is easy to maintain. Each pen lasts a long time, too. The only issue I have is that coworkers "borrow" them and "forget" to return them. They see how great these are!
Smooth and orecise.
I have horrible handwriting and thick gel ink only makes it look worse (and harder to read). I tried these and they are great. The ink line is so fine that it looks and writes like a pencil that was just sharpened. Even though the ink line is very fine, it is still smooth and solid without skipping any spots. They even make my handwriting look a little bit better somehow. I have now ordered these in bulk in both blue ink and black ink (because everyone in my office keeps "borrowing" them. Funny how they never get returned. It's okay though, I understand that when you find a pen that writes this well, you can't give it back LOL.
I write daily and go through about a pack per year. I really the fine tip and the quality of the writing experience, smooth and never scratchy. This seller packages everything so carefully, much appreciated.
Work well if you like a fine point pen.
I absolutely love these pens! The ultra-fine 0.38mm tip allows me to write clearly in small spaces, which is perfect for planners, journals, and detailed notes. I was first introduced to Pilot G2 pens about 10 years ago and have always appreciated their vibrant colors and reliable quality. But discovering the 0.38mm version was a game-changer. I’m completely in love! The ink flows smoothly without clogging, and they last impressively long. Honestly, they outperform every other pen I’ve ever used. Highly recommend for anyone who values precision and performance in their writing tools! They do not smear, and you can only find them online, as they're not carried in stores.
Love these pens will never buy anything else. Definitely recommend.
