I taught for an entire year wearing these masks. They're comfortable, the design holds the fabric away from your mouth, they fit snug around my nose and my glasses didn't fog up. I rotated through a handful each week and these masks stayed functional through many uses. I stayed healthy all year. This year, no masks at school, but I still keep them on hand for when a need arises.
As per some other reviews, I also found these masks to run small. They would probably fit my 13 year old granddaughter. They seem to be well made if you are ok with a smaller mask. I am female with an average size head and face and I found them to be too small for me to work. 7 3/4" long, 3" wide when closed. the flaps that open to go over your nose and under your chin are only 1 1/2" wide. I think that is what makes them fit too small. This part should be a bit wider.
These fit very well and comfortable on my thinner face, which I've struggled to find proper fit. I especially like them being individually packaged as I travel regularly and can stash these in different bags and they stay in shape, clean, and protected. I don't find them at all uncomfortable or hot on my face.
I ordered these masks for my husband and myself to use during our flight travels this past summer. I like that they were individually wrapped. The Adult Mask fit me well and was comfortable during flights. Unfortunately, they did NOT fit my husband. The elastic around the ears was too tight and the mask itself was too small for him. I wish we had checked this out before we traveled. I will continue to use this mask, but will have to find something different for my husband.
It's smaller than expected, kind of tight. I was hoping the elastic wasn't going to pull this tightly. I was hoping the fit would have been more like the FaceWasher masks. The material is a little on the thick side too.
I have a family member with serious health problems who can’t get sick. I still have to mask in certain places, like planes.Masks like this are necessary but the 95s are so tight, my ears hurt and I’d need to double mask. (Regular over top to hold the 95 in place)On to these - this is like a Godsend! These masks fit without pain and do the job they’re supposed to.If you have to/want to mask, these are a great buy. So comfortable and coverage is perfect. Definitely will re-buy.
I had never heard of the Korean KF94 masks before searching for pandemic masks. I did some reading & found KF94 to be considered basically as safe as an N95 masks. In the same research I learned that the seemingly popular KN95 rating is often not adhered to by manufacturers and that some people received masks that were ineffective. Knowing that, and since I hate giving China money to fund a communist party that wants to take over everything it can, we opted for the trustworthy Korean KF94 and love these masks. They last longer than expected and are packed flat so they're easy to toss into your glove box or a suitcase. I'll probably use them when I mow the grass since I have allergies to it.I would buy these again without hesitation (in fact I just made my 2nd purchase about a month ago).
I find these masks to be more comfortable than cloth or surgical masks, and I think the solid black makes them more subtle and "cool" than other masks as well! It kind of looks like you're wearing a hard plastic mask, I think.KF94 masks have good performance in preventing COVID-19 transmission from the few articles I've read. I got KN95 masks as well, but apparently a study showed that about 70% of them don't provide the full advertised effectiveness. I think South Korea may generally have better quality control than China, but I haven't seen any actual evidence, so it's more of a guess than a fact. Regardless, N95 masks are incredibly difficult to buy, so for general use outside of medical facilities, the KF94 seems like a good way to go.One last important piece of information! Know how these are used and what their limitations are. I saw a study that I believe said HEPA respirator/masks (i.e. KN95, KF94, etc.) can become less effective after being saturated with moisture from breathing (i.e. after be 4 hours, I think?), so you may want to consider the limitations based on the situations you'll find yourself in. If you are in a high-risk group or will be in high-risk areas, it's probably best to do a bit of research to be confident in what PPE you choose.Best of luck and stay safe!
