08-03-2026Using packing tape was dreadful before I found this Scotch Box Lock Packing Tape. It is so easy to work with and it’s super strong. No more cursing because I can’t unroll the tape, no need for two or three layers to close a heavy box. I will never buy another brand.

It did well to hold up to friction, sliding on concrete, and Texas heat.Only weakness was when I tried taping old boxes that had the flaps folded fully inward. The tape did not prevent the flaps from returning to partly folded/collapsed in state. That and it's thick.When I opened the boxes by cutting, I resealed by taping over old cut tape with confidence.Bottom line, I trusted the tape to hold with a single run along the long center seam of the box. No need for cross runs or other reinforcement.

It just makes everything easier and convenient. I have bought this brand before and been thoroughly disappointed but this tape is amazing. The size and length of tape is generous compared to some top brands. Worth spending on this.
