Is it just me or if you're born in the 70s or 80s, your last memories of double sided tape might be if some inflexible garbage that is hard to get the backing off of. NOT HERE. This stuff is amazing because the tape is thin, flexible, strong, and forgiving. And it's EASY to separate from the backing. It doesn't seem to harm surfaces the way old school double sided tape did. Imagine it to be like a very thin, mostly opaque version of that nanotape that is so popular these days. Definitely not as reusable, but also not thicker than a slice of cheddar cheese. It's almost like cellophane it's so thin and moldable. I'm already using it for things I didn't buy it for which is a sign of a great product. 3M is an unsung hero of the modern world's material sciences.
Very high quality tape. It did the trick for a picture framing project of mine.
Works well but hard to get the backing off as took me a while.
This super thin adhesive is unrivaled, it adheres instantly and is perfect for paper crafts. Would make it 5 stars if it came in a dispenser and wasn't so expensive.
This 3M double-sided tape worked exactly as expected. It’s easy to apply, holds objects firmly in place, and feels strong and reliable. Perfect for small projects where you need a secure, clean hold without nails or screws.
I had some mounting tabs with this 3M adhesive number written on the backing so I thought I'd get a roll of it because it mounted stuff really strong. Unfortunately the tape doesn't hold things up as well as the mounting tabs (I guess it doesn't have the same material or thickness of backing material)
I came across this double sided "tissue tape" by mistake. I thought I ordered foam tape and this showed up. I decided to try it. Glad I did because this tape is excellent for my use. I use for my rc crawler hobby and the uses for this tape are endless. I use it mainly to secure components in my rigs. I can remove the component if needed, with a little alocohol prep clean up. It's flexible in the sense that I can roll inch long rolls 1/8" round and put those in between components. Sometimes I have to bury a wire in foam so I wrap the wire with this tape and sandwich in between the foam. I run these rigs in water, dirt, rocks, sand, just about anything and the tape has never failed. I can pull or tug on the parts and they are secure. It's that good! Easy to use just don't let it touch anything other than what you plan to stick to, you'll just need a new piece. Quality, value and overall an excellent product I would recommend to anyone needing to secure items or such.
Exactly what I needed for a fake mustache. I had some Spirit gum but it was too weak to hold. The mustache originally came with a 3M adhesive strip already attached but of course was only good for 1-2 uses. After searching for the same thin 3M replacement tape, I bought this one and it worked perfectly.Highly recommend it for this and other uses requiring a very thin but strong, flexible adhesive strip that you can cut to fit.
Used to hold 2 pieces of plexi together
Works better than expected. I have bought double sided before, but is not usually very strong. This is strong and easy to use. You don’t have to fight with it to get the paper off if the adhesive.
This tape means business. I’ve used it for everything from mounting lightweight panels to securing 3D-printed parts, and it holds like a champ. The adhesion is strong without being messy, and the tissue backing makes it easy to cut cleanly and apply precisely. The 9448A formula grips well to plastic, metal, and even textured surfaces. I’ve tested it on foam, acrylic, and PETG—no complaints. It’s thin enough to stay low-profile but tough enough to feel permanent. Bonus: the roll is generous, so you’re not rationing strips like it’s gold leaf.If you need reliable, no-drama bonding for DIY, crafts, or tech mods, this tape earns its spot in the toolbox.
I love this double sided tape for attaching things together. It has a strong bond, and is also easy to remove when required.
