DEWALT Safety Goggles, Clear, Anti-Fog, DPG84 - Insulator

This review is for DEWALT Safety Goggles, Clear, Anti-Fog, DPG84. These safety goggles do an excellent job of blocking particles. They are completely sealed all the way around. This is a bit of a catch-22 that I will talk about further down. They offer D3 (droplets & splashes) and D4 (dust) protection. Please note that fine dust protection is D5, which these are not rated for. These work great for eye protection when particles come in from all directions, like dusty environments, wood cutting, looking up with branch trimming, and so on. The lens is not anti-fog, and since there are no air vent holes, they fog up a bit on the quick side. This is the catch-22 I mentioned above. Air vents would allow dust to get in. The goggles are comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time. I will most likely coat the lens with a wax or some other anti-fog coating.

I actually wanted the Goggles but clicked on these instead ( my fault) ! The plastic seal that goes around the eyes is hard and sharp and one must do a lot of adjusting to make the seal just semi comfortable! Forget about adjusting them tight- it just plain hurts so that effects the seal also- too loose and it won’t seal either! For those of you that may be wondering if these will fit over prescription glasses ( they don’t say that they will) they absolutely will not! Tried on my 7-1/4 head then my tiny wife tried the and said send them back they are horrible! I would send them back but Amazon wants everyone to use UPS stores Only and the closest one toMe is 55 miles! Make no mistake they do this for a reason and it isn’t a good one! These will go in my shop for my grandchildren ( just for play) because it’s not worth the cost for me to drive 110 miles round trip to return them! Dewalt- I have thousands of $$$ invested in your tools but putting your good name on these is digressing!

I wear this when I'm working in my attic. It keeps the fiberglass and mold particles out of my eyes, and I feel safe as a result.Pros: keeps the eyes protectedCons: It really does get fogged up while I was hoping it wouldn't. I'm not sure which conditions cause this.

I really enjoy the fit of these DEWALT safety goggles — they’re snug without being too tight and comfortable enough to wear for long periods. Unfortunately, despite being labeled “anti-fog,” they tend to fog up quite a bit during use. I’ve noticed a lot of condensation forming on the inside, which makes it hard to see clearly when I’m working. Great design overall, but the fogging issue is a real drawback.

Good protection but fogs up fast

These are perfect for weed-eating and working on vehicles!

Glad I went with these goggles, they are lightweight, comfortable, and have amazing visibility. Nice seal around my eyes to prevent grass, and saw dust from getting in and irritating my eyes. Side note, I recommend these especially for people that don’t wear glasses bc the frame still allows great visibility (people that wear glasses daily are desensitized to having their frames in their line of vision, while I feel like I can’t see everything) didn’t notice any fogging, but I’m not sure wearing a mask would cause fogging because they are sealed all the way around. I would absolutely recommend this product.I’d like to state that I am a woman, I think most of the safety eyewear is “unisex” but I’ve struggled finding safety glasses that fit on my face properly.

Wore these at Burning Man. Better than any goggles in a dust storm yet. No vents for micro dust but they also don't fog.
