The origin of Halloween
Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on October 31, and Halloween 2021 will occur on Sunday, October 31. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.

08-03-2026So cute on my little pumpkin! I stuffed it with a few blankets to plump it up, since it was a little big on my 1-month-old and to make it look more round like a pumpkin. It’s stretchy and lightweight, so I definitely recommend putting something underneath it.

The fabric is really soft and cozy, which I was worried about since baby costumes can sometimes be scratchy. This one feels more like a comfy sleeper than a costume.The fit was perfect roomy enough that he could move around easily, but not so big that it looked baggy. The hood with the little green stem detail is adorable, and it actually stayed on without bothering him, which is rare! I had him wear it for some photos and a family get-together, and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how cute he looked.It’s also surprisingly practical easy to get on and off for diaper changes, and it washed well afterward without fading or shrinking. For a first Halloween outfit, it couldn’t have been better. Definitely something I’ll be saving for keepsakes.
