Herdio 5.25 Inch Passive Ceiling Speakers Pair, 160W 2-Way in Wall Speaker, Square Flush Mount Speakers for Home Theater, Living Room, Office

I already had a pair of speakers in my caravan, mounted at the front. I wanted speakers in the bedroom area for watching TV or listening to music in the bedroom. These are perfect for my needs. I had to cut the underside of the over bed lockers to mount these but that gave an almost ‘flush’ fitting (externally) and a very neat installation. Inside the cabinets there are adjustable shelves so I lowered these down to just above the speakers, protecting them in use. I paid just over £5.00 for the pair delivered with Prime which is almost unbelievable! They are worth far more and provided me with exactly what I needed. Excellent quality with far better sound than that coming from the flat screen TV. Really happy with these speakers, obviously some work involved running concealed wiring back from the stereo to the speakers and from TV to stereo but this was the case regardless. Would definitely purchase again if I needed cavity wall mounted speakers

These are decent quality speakers that are going to last for a long time. The build of the speakers was made out of good materials. There are zero vibration noises from the units. There is a fair weight to them, but not so much you need to worry if they are being installed in a lightweight material ceiling.Installation is pretty straightforward and it comes with everything you need to get it put in the ceiling right. The front grill is easy enough to take off for cleaning or if you should wish to paint it. I have removed and replaced it a few times to see if it will get loose and it doesn’t.The sound quality is decent enough, but it is not a high end sound speaker. It also depends on where it is installed. So play around with it before you pick the final spot, you may like me find a spot that gives a richer sound.

Kitchen speaker , sounds great and dimensions were as described.

Could not get the grill out for install using the included hook tool, or any tool i have. Reached out to seller but did not receive a response. Ended up drilling a hole from rear to push grill out.

These speakers are OK – not great, but not bad. They have virtually no bass to speak of (and even when paired with a great subwoofer, the sound they produce is distinctly separate from the subwoofer’s bass). They are fairly small and can produce a decent amount of volume, but if you’re going for quality over volume, these may not be the best for you. I originally intended to use them as a center channel speaker in a home theater setup. I may keep this speaker, but plan to replace it with a similarly priced speaker from Monoprice as I’ve observed the quality of those speakers’ sound to be significantly higher. If you’re just looking for an OK budget speaker, this may be for you. If you’re after quality and need a little bass in your sound without a subwoofer, I’d recommend continuing your search.
