Ghia Apéritif is a game changer for anyone seeking a sophisticated, non-alcoholic option that truly captures the complexity of a classic bitter aperitif. Its sweetness level is refreshingly low, just enough to balance the botanicals, while the bitterness is pronounced and complex, drawing comparisons to high-end Italian bitters like Campari or Cynar, but without the harsh burn of alcohol. It's incredibly easy to mix, creating an instantly satisfying Spritz (2 oz Ghia + 4 oz soda), and is highly versatile for creative cocktails with ginger beer or tonic. The product's premium feel is backed by superior quality ingredients and stunning, heavy-bottle packaging that looks fantastic on a bar cart. Crucially, the nutritional profile is a huge selling point, with minimal sugar and only 5 calories per serving, making it easy to enjoy a Ghia Spritz most nights of the week without a second thought. Highly recommended
I really enjoy the bitter complexity of Ghia. I'm not fully non alcohol, but do enjoy a NA cocktail to decrease my alcohol intake. I think Ghia is especially delicious in tangerine La Croix. I wish it wasn't so expensive though. The bottle is smaller than typical apertifs and I find I go through it quickly. I would purchase more frequently if it was less cheaper.
I’m a Negroni lover who quit drinking a year ago. Looking for something with natural ingredients and no added sugar to sip on. First, the product was packed well and the bottle is nice. The decorative cork top broke off upon the initial opening forcing me to use a corkscrew to open it. I mixed 1.5 oz Ghia with maybe 6 oz club soda. It has an interesting flavor, but doesn’t really mimic a Negroni or any appertivo I’ve ever had. Some may like the taste, others will not as with anything. The flavor didn’t hit the spot for me. The rosemary was too heavy in the mix. I don’t like the way it lingers in your mouth. I’ll stick with something like a Phony Negroni or one of the othe NA appertivos, unfortunately most have added sugar or preservatives I don’t care for.
I am stunned by the positive reviews here! I’ve been trying several alternatives to alcohol that feel festive & taste good, so based on reviews, bought the combo pack. These are not cheap-$75 for the pair. I know that AF products are hit or miss, but these were honestly the worst thing that I’ve ever experienced! I tried them both with an open mind & added club soda, citrus etc & there was no way to make these remotely drinkable! Thankful that Amazon refunded my money-I am writing this review so that you can save yours & avoid it completely!
I wanted to like this. I enjoy Ghia's ginger soda. The first three ingredients in this bottle are common, tasty fruits, and for a fraction of a second upon imbibing it, one can taste those flavors. Then comes an overwhelming undercurrent of something savory, almost gamey—like smoked duck. I'm guessing this is the fermented green tea, or possibly the smoky flavor of the other tea. It's absolutely bizarre. Other notes are medicinal.I cannot fathom why non-alcoholic "spirit" makers try to cram so many disparate flavors into their concoctions. The end result is nothing less than schizophrenic. I poured out this $38 bottle after two sips. And I had tried it with a full squeeze of blood orange juice to accentuate the fruit! Still, it was undrinkable. Why can't these makers simply emulate the 3 or 4 flavor profile of an actual cocktail?
I love how refreshing this product is! It has a great balance of sweetness and bitterness as a non-alcoholic beverage! It has some herbal and citrus hints that make it perfect mixed with sparkling water and other light flavored seltzers. This pairing is perfect and is super quick and easy to make too! I also value the ingredients and the style of the bottle - it's super high-quality and looks beautiful!
This product is absolutely amazing! It strikes the perfect balance: not too sweet, yet not too bitter. The touch of bitterness is spot-on, giving it that sophisticated flavor reminiscent of an Aperol Spritz, but without being overly orangey. I was able to whip up a delicious spritz with it in no time; my favorite combo is with strawberry lemonade and Tito’s vodka. The result is light, refreshing, and incredibly tasty! The ingredients are clearly high-quality, and the elegant packaging makes it feel truly luxurious. Plus, the sugar and calorie content are surprisingly reasonable for something that tastes this good. I can’t recommend it enough!
Ghia is easily one of the best non-alcoholic drinks I’ve tried. The flavor is clean and refreshing with the perfect balance of citrus and herbal bitterness that makes it stand out. It’s super easy to mix into a spritz with sparkling water, and the bottle itself looks beautiful and high-quality. You can tell the ingredients are natural, it’s not too sweet, and it’s light enough to enjoy anytime.
