Absolutely amazing difference to my reverse osmosis water , I use it in a skuma water machine and it gets used for every drink hot or cold , everything is better and has a very nice mouth feel it's the biggest improvement I've ever had to my water
I was using Costco purified water. Has a TDS around 50. Using 0 TDS Zero water, these packets produce a TDS of 90. There is a difference in the taste of the coffee made by my Moccamaster. It's subtle but it's there. I think you need to be serious about your coffee to use this though.
When I initially bought these, for some reason I thought I bought the third wave coffee brand. So, I was surprised to have received this brand instead. That's what I get for amazon shopping late at night lol. If I'm being honest I really didn't want to give this product a chance being that it has a low amount of reviews on Amazon and it's website is visually lacking. However this is about the coffee it can produce, and if it can produce good coffee and be at a price point this low; why not give it try.---- About the Coffee ----I brewed two cups with 55g of medium roast espresso from 22g of fresh ground beans using distilled water mixed with both packets. I've been using this coffee for a week so I'm famiar with this batch's notes and flavors. Given my skepticism of this brand I needed to know if they were actually better than filtered water. To keep this somewhat short, yes it was better. Was it worth eighty cents a packet. Yeah, I wouldn't mind parting with a dollar to enhance a gallon of water for coffee. If you're on the fence about buying this I think you should give it a try, you might be surprised.
The is essentially making your own “smart water” out of distilled or reverse osmosis filtered water.I started out by following one of the many “recipes” for adding slats/ions back to water to improve the taste of coffee that I found online, but it was just too tedious to do twice a week. This isn’t perfect because it uses some calcium which I worry about precipitating on the inside of my espresso machine boiler but…
I like the clarity of my coffee when I brew with coffee water. I use RO water as my base (reverse osmosis water).I have compared the extraction of my coffee with other water sources and this comes out the best.
This has worked well with my ECM espresso machine. I have been using this water for a year and I don't have any scale buildup. I usually make latte's so I wouldn't notice a flavour difference vs other water. Only slight down side is that it takes a while to dissolve. I usually stir it for 5 minutes then come back later to stir again until dissolved.
I have purchased this item several times instead of a similar product that may be more well known but much more expensive. I have not noticed a taste difference between the two, so will continue to purchase this less expensive option. The only issue that some people may not like is that you have to pour two different packets of powder into water instead of one. Not a big deal to me.
This created mold in the water tank of my espresso machine! Then I looked in the jug with the remaining water and also MOLD! I’m not exactly sure how long this was in there as the tank doesn’t hold 2 gallons so I just top it off every few days. Maybe 3 weeks tops?!
If you want the purest taste for your coffee, these minerals mixed with distilled water gives the premium taste experience!
Not as good as Third Wave Water. This seemed to leave a bitter after taste when using my Keurig
the improved product is a nuisanceold product was simple: open small tube-like package and add it to gallon of distilled water. package was easily storable.new product multiple packets needed .not convenient to store -box too big for contents doesn't create same delicious taste in my judgment.
Makes the water gummy after a day or two. Not a suitable product to use long term
I much prefer this to TWW. I can still taste the coffee with this and it protects my machine since we use RO water in our home. With TWW, my coffee tastes muted and similar to diner coffee or Keurig. I think TWW concentrates their packets with more than you need, so I've seen recommendations that you have to use half the packet to get the right results. Coffee Water gives me better results right out of the box and it is so much more cost effective if you buy the 125 gallon version. I drop these packets into a 5 gallon water jug, fill with RO water, and use a battery operated pump. I think this pack will last me nearly a year, so super happy I found this product. Coffee Water also has a pretty cool story about how they came to be on their website if you're interested. I like to research anything I put in my water to make sure it's legit and I feel good about using this product after seeing all the research and time that went into its creation.

If You Have RO Water, You’re All Set
Your Coffee Water Professionals
COFFEE WATER mineral packs turn pure water into the optimal water for brewing a truly amazing cup of coffee.
Coffee was meant to be enjoyed. Make the most of it.
If you have a reverse osmosis (RO) water filter system, you are already enjoying great tasting and healthy drinking water. Unfortunately, due to its low mineral content, RO water is not the most efficient at extracting the full coffee flavor from the coffee beans.
To extract the flavor molecules optimally (which are primarily acidic), having certain positively charged mineral molecules will aid in drawing out the coffee flavor from the beans.
This process is comparable to attempting to remove oil from your hands using only plain water: while some oil can be removed, incorporating soap into the water significantly enhances the oil-removing capability.
Likewise, with positively charged minerals present in the water, you can extract up to 30% more flavor from the beans.

There’s nothing like the warmth of a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. A cup of coffee brewed the right way with Coffee Water mineral packs can feel like a warm hug on a chilly day.
To validate the excellence and integrity of water professionals, the Water Quality Association (WQA) upholds a stringent certification program, and the Master Water Specialist designation stands as the highest certification granted by the WQA.
