This set of self-fusing tape seems to me of very good quality and it delivers great value for the money
I've used this type of tape in my job as HVAC mech and have come to depend on it for outdoor work. Even used it to insulate plier handles though you have to insure enough used for that.
Best used for rigid hoses not the flexible lightweight hoses. Did not work on a flexible hose- leak was still there.
Work good but a little sticky
This tape is great for adhesion and waterproof and great for handle covering for tools like pliers, hammers, rakes, etc. Just rap the handle and apply a thin coat of clear gorilla glue (non-foaming) over the silicone tape and let dry over night and it makes great hand grips for your tools and keeps down dry rot and rust from condensation and corrosion. I have a few tools that I have rapped with silicone tape from 2 years ago and they are still holding up, and I drop and bang them around alot. The only downside is that I wish they would make more colors. Lol.
Stuff works great! Had some pin holes in a garden hose and thought I’d try it. Cut off a 10-12” strip, cleaned the hose well and tightly wrapped it pulling tight every time I wrapped it. Turned the hose on and no leaks!
This stuff works great. It’s strong, waterproof, sticks to itself and not your hands.
This was purchased to wrap underground pipe connections to exclude dirt and reduce corrosion. This product is "stickier" than other fusion tapes that I have used. Removing the release layer is difficult to get started. The tape bonds to itself almost instantly so you had better position it correctly the first time. It stretches well enough to follow fairly extreme contours.

Multi-Purpose Self-Fusing Silicone Tape
self fusing Silicone Tape Specifications
Advantage:
Superior Performance Good insulation, UV protection, waterproof, high-temperature resistance. Strong Stickiness The surface of the rescue tape itself is not sticky, the tape can produce strong stickiness by sticking to the tape. After being wound, the tape will melt by itself and use pressure to seal waterproof. Strong Emergency Do not need to stop water can easily plug the leakage, for sudden leakage has an obvious effect. Wide Applicability It can be applied to all kinds of pipeline materials and leakage stoppage under all kinds of environments.
Silicone Repair Tape:
This tape is not tacky like traditional adhesive tapes, instead it fuses to itself creating a strong, waterproof seal which can withstand the harshest of environments.
To secure, simply wrap it around the component to be repaired and press on it firmly. If the tape is going to be subjected to high pressures, we recommend wrapping the tape around several times.
