Great drone for hobby flyer and learning. Stable hover and easy to control. Good video display but a bit hard to see in bright sun so a controller hood would be a good idea. Drone is built solid. The bundle with extra batteries is a good deal since batteries are a bit hard to find and they are pricey right now. DJI always has good reviews for their products and is a leader in the field. Since it's only 249 grams, wind can be a big factor so a wind speed gauge comes in handy. I've used mine in some of the upper recommended wind speeds and it was still very steady but use with caution on windy days. The auto return feature is great too. My first drone didn't have that and I last saw it headed for England when a strong wind gust caught it while flying on the beach in Georgia.

This is an AMAZING drone. Video and picture quality is unreal. I couldn’t be happier with my DJI Mini 3. This is actually my first drone and I got it for an add on to wedding packages. (I’m a photographer) This drone strikes the perfect balance between being compact enough to take anywhere and powerful enough to capture smooth, professional-looking footage. It’s incredibly easy to fly, even as someone who’s not a professional pilot. The controls are intuitive, and the drone feels stable even in light winds. I’ve flown it around houses and open fields, and it handles both with confidence. The return-to-home feature gives me peace of mind, especially when I’m flying further out.CONS: Battery life from what I’ve used is not the best. I can get about a good 30 minutes of use before it needs to be charged again.I included a video of me flying it around my parents house. I did edit it in Lightroom to give it that cinematic look. The DJI Mini 3 Fly More Combo is a great purchase! It’s super compact and easy to carry around, which makes it perfect for travel or casual flying. The battery life isn’t quite as long as advertised, but it’s still pretty close and gives plenty of flight time. The range is impressive, and it’s a lot of fun to fly — very stable and responsive.The camera quality is excellent, with sharp resolution and vibrant colors, and the screen looks fantastic too. Overall, it’s a really solid drone for its size and price. Highly recommend for beginners or anyone who wants a reliable, fun drone experience!

The Mini 3 is a fabulous DJI product and infact my preferred travel drone due to the size (I also have a phantom 4 pro). The Mini 3 has no sensors and lacks some of the features of the pro versions but image quality is still amazing and with the ability to shoot vertical content is a bonus.Flight time is crazy just on or over 30mins (like my Phantom 4 Pro) and it fits in my normal camera bag. Set up to flight time is fast and the upgraded remote with included screen allows you to use your phone or other tasks. This is a bonus in itself as the phone screen can be hard to see in sunlight.Perfect in windy conditions, the little drone will get buffeted but holds position well with GPS.Follow-me mode is unavailable as this is entry level, but you do have other modes to utilise. If you're not the focus but where you are is, then this will not be an issue.The convenience of powerbank charging this is a great DJI product and now one of my faves being on trips overseas x 2 times already.Bag yourself a bargain with the Mini 3 while you can

Incredible drone! It’s unreal how I launched it off my building’s rooftop. The wind was strong up there, but the image was perfectly still. You couldn’t tell it was moving at all, like studio-quality film. I flew a couple of blocks away, all the way down to the wharf. There’s a hill and a bunch of buildings between me and the wharf. I ended up losing signal over the wharf and got scared. I thought I’d lose my drone, but it actually raised up in the air so high it went above the limit it’s usually allowed to go. It didn’t stop going up until it reestablished a clear connection with my phone and remote. I was able to fly back home without any problems. I was so relieved.I could’ve stopped flying before it got out of reach. It was giving me serious indications that it was about to lose signal. It was flashing in and out and blinking that I was out of range, but I just kept pushing it anyway. I don’t know what I was thinking.The drone is pretty friendly, very easy to use, and extremely portable. It’s very lightweight, and I actually put it in the pocket of my pants and rode my bicycle without even it being uncomfortable.It’s also extremely durable. I crashed it once without blade protectors, and you couldn’t even tell that I wrecked it. There was only a small scratch on one of the blades.The only function I wish it had was auto-tracking. It doesn’t auto-track a person or bicycle and follow you on its own.

I ended up buying a Fly More kit with the large capacity batteries as a separate purchase, and it saved me even more money and gave me bigger battery capacity (you have to fly under Part 107 in the US if you use the large batteries). If you’re flying recreationally with only a Trust cert, stick to the regular capacity batteries — the drone comes with one.The Mini 3 has no object sensing or avoidance. That’s a great feature to have, but the price of this little guy made the tradeoff worth it for me.This is my “fun” drone and also serves as a peace-of-mind emergency backup to the Air 3S my daughter uses for commercial shoots.

It flies well. It has good flight time, about 30+ minutes. The video quality is okay for the price. This is a good drone to learn on but honestly, if you can, get a pro model. The pro models have so many nice-to-have features that this lacks. You will find its video quality limitations quickly.
