08-03-2026This has all the essentials to get started in the world of sketching and everything fits nicely in a rolled bag. Some reviewers say the pencils fall out but they must not have noticed there is a small (2-inch wide) flap running along the bottom of the kit that you slip your pencils into so they don't fall out. The flap is only on one side, so that makes a top and a bottom to the roll, and as long as you don't tip it upside down, nothing will fall out. For the price, this kit is hard to beat, making it a great value! The pencils are pretty good quality too, with a variety of hard and soft, black color pencils and a few charcoal sticks too. Again, for a beginner, I suspect. The size is perfect for me because I toss it into my bicycle tail bag along with a 6x9 sketchbook and carry it around with me. Definitely small enough to fit in a backpack or handbag. Easy to use roll simply unsnaps, unrolls, and you have all your essentials at the ready.
