Terra makes products that are better for your baby, and their world, without compromising functionality! Terra plant-based diapers and bamboo baby wipes are the real deal – they perform like you need them to – and are better for the environment. Terra Diapers are 85% plant-based, which is as much plant-based material as we can currently use without sacrificing performance. Our diapers are designed with ultra-soft materials and a gentle, hypoallergenic liner that's free of harmful chemicals, making them safe and gentle for even the most sensitive skin. Our diapers provide a snug fit and reliable leak protection to keep your baby dry and comfortable, even overnight. The unique 360˚ Absorb Pad increases the absorbency area for instant dryness and 3D leak guards prevent leaks and side spills. Within 60 seconds of wetting, the diaper top sheet is dry to the touch, meaning you don’t have to change your little one as often because they’re dry! Even the wetness indicator is plant-based. When you choose Terra, you're not only making a choice that's safe for your baby, but you're also making a choice that's better for the planet.
I like to branch out and try different night diapers, but I will never purchase these again. Pro: very soft and quality ingredients. Cons: Diaper, baby, and sheets were SOAKED by 2am. The threads of the diaper were literally unraveling. The smell of the diaper by morning was nauseating to say the least. If you are considering for overnight, pass. But daytime should be fine.
This is a bit of a read but stick with me because if you’re reading this then you’re likely a parent of achild in diapers or maybe expecting your first. If that’s the case then it will be worth your time.First – I think this is the first review I’ve ever written on Amazon. I read a ton of them (like everyone) buthaven’t felt the inspiration to ever write one until now.My daytime job is in wound care, so helping people with chronic wounds caused by burns, infection, trauma, or many other underlying medical conditions. I think this gives me a bit of a unique perspectivewhen evaluating diapers. My 24-hour a day job is parenting our amazing 11 mo. old. (who onlyhappened after years of IVF…but that’s a story for another day).Probably not surprisingly, when we started researching diapers my number one priority was the healthof our kiddo’s skin. So this made me ask 2 questions:1) How quickly does the diaper remove moisture from the part of the diaper in contactwith the skin?2) How breathable (aka “natural”) are the materials used to make the diapers are.Let’s start with the second point…To say that there is a lot of “greenwashing” (if you haven’t heard this word before, look it up.Very interesting) going on with baby diapers is a huge understatement. When I went down therabbit hole that is researching “eco-friendly diapers” I discovered an entire world wherebasically everyone says theirs is the best and the most eco-friendly and have laboratory testingto prove it and they’re all splitting hares (see what I did there) on the details of each individualmaterial. Then you have tons of eco-friendly blogs that review the diapers, but they seem likethey’re being paid to do it. Bottom line – diaper brands aren’t legally required to disclose whattheir diapers are made of, and everyone says theirs are the most pure so there’s no way to becertain which one really is the most eco-friendly.With than in mind, much of my reasoning why Terra is the best option here is empirical becauseit’s basically impossible to prove so take it with a grain of salt... 1) The company is based in NewZealand. It just seems like culturally New Zealand isn’t as profit-driven as we are. I also reallylike that they’re legit with their claims… 2) They say they’re 85% plant-based when some othersmake claims of 100% this or 0% that. Why would you say you’re 85%, which is clearly less thanothers, unless you were refusing to play the greenwashing game?Back to the first point…This is where they really sold me and the main reason we’re investing (because let’s face it,these are NOT the cheapest option) in our baby’s skin and diapers. I saw a video on Insta fromsomeone I follow, Jamie Grayson, where he did an actual physical side by side test of how muchliquid each eco-friendly diaper holds and how QUICKLY the top layer of each diaper dried out. Icould not believe how quickly the top layer of the Terra dried out vs all the others. It wasliterally dry in seconds whereas the other ones were all still wet when the test was done. I don’tknow why more people aren’t talking about this because it’s SUCH a critical aspect of keepingskin healthy and avoiding diaper rash and bacteria growth that is common when a baby sits intheir wet. This was all I needed to see as a wound care specialist to stop looking, but for moreproof just google “moisture and diaper rash mayo clinic” to see what I mean. On top of that, the amount of liquid that the Terra absorbed was waaay more than the others. They talk aboutthis on their Amazon page but the video was way more impactful and it was crazy to see. Sincewe started using them, we’ve had 2 leaks (but both were because my husband was still workingon his diaper changing skills!) and critically, ZERO cases of diaper rash.Bottom Line -In my opinion, Terra is hands down the winner when it comes to the health of our baby’s skin.Hope this was helpful!
I absolutely love Terra diapers! They are the most absorbent diapers we have ever used. They keep the baby’s skin dry. The fit is perfect for full coverage. The only complaint is the price increase, they used to be about $12 & rose to $16. I had to stop buying these due to the price increase unfortunately.
Amazing diapers … really highly recommended
This is my second (or third) purchase of Terra Size 4 diapers, and they continue to impress. Ultra-soft, reliable overnight absorbency. They fit well, handle leaks perfectly, and are gentle on my toddler’s sensitive skin. I always reorder because they are just that good.
I love the commitment to plant-based materials, and they feel soft and gentle on the skin. However, they don’t hold up as well overnight or during heavy use. Great for daytime, but not the most reliable overall.
This is an amazing product — very soft, highly absorbent, and completely chemical-free. It keeps my little one dry for hours and is perfect for overnight use with no leaks. I’ve tried several brands, and this one is definitely at the top of my list. Durable, high-quality, and gentle — I’ll definitely be buying again!
Best product for baby's
Super soft, thick and absorbent....BUT the tabs are too short and will lift. Thought is was a one off when my child woke up soaking wet, clothes and bed. The diaper tab had lifted and got stuck to the inside of my child's onsie. Then it happened again and again. Now I can hear the velcro sound when my child is crawling and I know the diaper is coming off. It's hard to keep your little one dry when the diaper won't stay on! I wanted to love these diapers. Disappointed.
I really tried multiple times but I had leakages every single time after a few hours.I liked the idea of safe and eco friendly diaper… I will try other brands and see.
I was looking for a new diaper when our original diapers we bought went out of business. When you search for Eco diapers so many show up that are truly not eco-friendly with all their dies and cool designs on them. Decided to take a chance on these even though they were some of the most expensive. I'm so glad we chose these diapers because they are the softest diapers and our little one has such sensitive skin. I encourage anybody and everyone to at least give this type of brand a try and you probably won't go back. And if you are worried with the price tag on it I would at least get a set for your child overnight and during long naps and then you can go to cheaper route during the day when you're changing frequently but these are well worth the price and comfort of your little one.! Will now try their other products because of the eco friendly products and how great the diapers came!
First off, these are amazing diapers. They are probably the best we have used so far for our baby. They are a little on the expensive side but are 100% worth it. We use these as nighttime diapers and they have never once leaked or allowed any urine through.Reason for 4 stars is because of Amazon, they were shipped just in the manufacture packaging and wherever they were stored at the warehouse one of the batches smelt as though it was covered in rat/mouse urine! Brought this up to Amazon and they were zero help. They wanted me to send them back? I told them I tossed the entire package immediately so guess I’m just out the money on that order. SoBe careful buying from Amazon on this one.
I’ve tried several different cotton, diapers, and I keep coming back to these. Here’s the deal you need to find the right size they run on the bigger side and if you have a baby with hubby legs like most of us, do you really need to order two sizes and see which fits best. If it’s too big, you will get leakage. I have to say I haven’t felt like too small is an issue per se except for the occasional booty popping out if she isn’t wearing fitted pants. This diaper does not leave any cotton residue, which is super important, especially with a girl. She can wear these diapers on Carr rides without a developing a rash. And they don’t smell when it’s full.Overall, I love these diapers. I wish I could find them in the store because I’m terrible at ordering in time. But I highly recommend them, especially for girls.

We are on a journey!
You're going to need an eko-friendly way to dispose of your Terra Eco Diapers & Baby Wipes!
Our friends at Diaper Dekor are on a mission to make diaper duty a little less daunting and a lot more eko-friendly!
Babies' skin is extremely sensitive, up to 5x thinner than adults & much more absorbent. They'll spend almost all day every day in a diaper, so we understand the importance of being transparent about our ingredients & the quality of our products.
A lot goes into a good diaper! We've seen other diaper brands pour liquid in a diaper and show that the liquid doesn't leak out, but what about the inside where it touches your baby?
You want a diaper that doesn't leak AND keeps your baby dry! We've also seen other brands perform tests where it's clear they don't put the same amount of pressure on their diaper to make it look better!
We tested a Terra plant-based diaper against two other popular diaper brands to see which one absorbs the most liquid, AND which one stays the most dry. We used a 5 lb. weight so there's no way to fudge the results. Honestly, the video speaks for itself—scroll to the top and click through all the images to see the video!
Terra Diapers offer 12+ hours of breathable dryness and protection against diaper rash--great as overnight diapers. Because Terra diapers are so absorbent, and provide instant dryness, you can use less diapers which is better for your baby and their world!
So strong but so fresh. The natural ingredients in Terra bamboo baby wipes have been carefully selected to help even the most sensitive skin stay nourished and moisturized while protecting against rash and irritation. Made from 100% FSC-Certified Bamboo (NOT from Viscose) and 99.7% Pure NZ Water. 0% Plastic, Chemicals, Fragrance, Optical Brighteners or Other Harsh Chemicals.
By choosing Terra, you can be proud that you are choosing products that not only care for those dearest to you but also care for the Earth as our journey towards a more sustainable future sits at the core of Terra ethos.
Each year, Dekor Eko Diaper Pails and Refills give more than 750,000 pounds of plastic a second life! Plastic production has more than doubled in the last two decades. When plastic isn’t recycled or kept in sealed landfills, it becomes an environmental pollutant, entering our oceans and affecting wildlife and ecosystems, and producing significant greenhouse gas emissions. By purchasing Dekor Eko products, you and your family are helping save our landfills from millions of pounds of plastic waste, for a cleaner, greener future.
Changing the future, one diaper at a time.
