I am new to drone flying so I wanted a drone that would be as easy to fly as possible. My search brought me to the Potensic and its amazing versality and power, at an affordable price. The customer write-ups were very positive and, of course, it was sold through Amazon with the quality control and price guarantees they offer. So, I bought it. Delivery was swift - it arrived the following day.Manual and video instructions are on line, and they were a little difficult to access at first, but Potensic Customer Support was great and sorted this out very quickly - a special 'shout out' to Ruby. It did not take me long to "get airborne" and discover how surprisingly easy it is to fly - even indoors. The aircraft is very stable and does not drift, so steering it through doorways was a simple process, although I do confess to getting confused over the in-flight steering, which caused the drone to collide with the wall and damage a couple of the propellers. That was clearly due to my inexperience and over-confidence (it is that good) and not due to problems with the drone itself. So my advice is, reign in your enthusiasm and make sure you read the manual and operating instructions thoroughly. As a first test flight just get used to the control sticks and remember that, depending on the aspect and position of the drone (ie if it is facing you), turning the stick left may actually be wrong, as I found out!I have flown it outside and am hugely impressed by the quality of the real time images displayed and the straightforward process to record and view the flight subsequently.Even though weighing under 250 gms, as a drone with a camera it is necessary to register with the CAA as a drone operator, which I did as soon as I received my aircraft. It is inexpensive. As each day passes, I am becoming more adept at flying my Potensic ATOM SE drone and I am hoping to take it with me to fly when I go abroad on holiday. If you plan to do the same, check the regulations applicable in your destination. Within Europe, they are EASA Regs (also available on the internet).In summary, this is a super little drone, flies incredibly well, is easy to manoeuvre, has 31 minutes flight time per battery, has a very good onboard gimble mounted camera with high resolution recordable images (still and video), a return home feature and is sold at an affordable price. Last, but not least, it comes with a first rate customer support service. So, if you are looking for a compact and reliable drone, this could be the one for you. It was for me.

Tutto wow!Lo reputo un drone adeguato sia a piloti più principianti, vista la precisione e stabilità nei comandi e la presenza di una modalità principiante che limita la distanza di volo con una recinzione virtuale, sia a piloti con maggiore esperienza, data la distanza a cui può volare e la trasmissione pulita dell'immagine (attenzione: la qualità in ricezione, per ovvi motivi, è in HD ed è di qualità inferiore rispetto al video/foto fino a 4K che viene registrata dal drone e salvata in locale sulla scheda microSD da inserire al suo interno) oltre che la stabilità e la resistenza al vento, il che permette di volare ad altitudini e distanze maggiori.Il manuale utente è ben realizzato e completo, anche se la versione in italiano presenta qua e là qualche traduzione un po' troppo "macchinosa", ma nulla che renda il testo incomprensibile.Il produttore vende anche batteria e parti di ricambio originali, il che garantisce una maggiore qualità e una vita del drone (in generale) più longeva.Le caratteristiche e qualità descritte dal produttore sono veritiere, non c'è alcuna mancanza rispetto a quanto dichiarato.Il prezzo giustifica appieno le qualità del drone, non ho nulla da ridire.Ho letto prima di acquistarlo varie recensioni su Amazon ma anche su altre piattaforme ed erano molto positive. Alcuni segnalavano dei problemi al prodotto ma spesso sono stati aiutati dal produttore.Un ultimo aspetto da precisare, come descritto dal produttore nel manuale, è la distanza di trasmissione e controllo del drone: per avere trasmissione e comando di qualità bisogna evitare il più possibile interferenze, grandi edifici ecc. In questo modo la distanza a cui si può pilotare è effettivamente ampia.In sintesi, è un prodotto ottimo in termini di qualità-prezzo e caratteristiche e soddisfa appieno le mie esigenze e le aspettative createsi dalla lettura della descrizione.

I have had the Potensic Atom SE drone now for over a month and have flown it every weekend, so now I feel I can post an honest review. This is reall a great drone. May not have all the bells and whistles of that other company, but it doesn't have the price tag either. This is my first drone with GPS and what a difference that makes. I also love the fact that if I'm ever in a panic situation I can just release the controller joysticks and the drone will immediately stop whatever it's doing and hover in place. That's saved me a few times already. It is very easy to fly, even for a novice flyer. The controller and app are easy to handle and understand. Very comfortable controller and I like how it holds your phone, very easy to read, and has a range of 4km (about 2 1/2 miles) but I'll never really know how far it can go since I have to keep the drone itself in sight the whole time while flying. The furthest I've flown it was about 3200ft (about .6 miles) and the only reason I could see it that far off is because it was at twilight on a cloudy day and I could see my anticollision strobe blinking. The drone is very easy to handle, very responsive, and FAST! In Sport mode I reached 35mph, per the app. The video quality is impressive during the day, not so much at night. Photos are OK for use online and smaller photographs, but as a photographer I would like to see a better camera where I can make small enlargements, but, again, you can't complain too much at this price point. It handles windy days pretty well and have had no problems with it there. The Follow Me, Waypoint, and Circle Flight works as should and the RTH feature is great. I've initiated it myself a few times and had it return on it's own because of low battery, all times landing within feet of the takeoff point. I get about 25 minutes of flight per battery charge which is decent. The manual is easy to understand (although you have to download it, no physical manual with purchase) and the Customer Service has been GREAT. Had some concerns about the way my drone was packaged and they got back to me almost immediately and help solve my problem. Overall, I highly recommend this drone and you get alot for the price. I LOVE FLYING THIS THING! The ONLY regret I have in purchasing this is that I purchased it off of Amazon - nothing against Amazon, I love them too - but I wish I had gone directly to the Potensic website and seen the new and improved Atom drone and I would have definitley purchased that instead. At the time it was not available on Amazon (is now though) and is not that all more expensive than the SE.Update 11/22/2023 I mentioned in my review a few weeks back that I had a good experience with the Potensic Customer Service department and I had another great experience dealing with them again. Unfortunately, I had an accident with a tree and broke off my front right landing gear (the arm was fine) and couldn't find all the pieces. I emailed the customer service site and told them what happened and sent pictures and they got back to me within a day. They said it was repairable and gave me a price, plus gave me the option of purchasing a replacement Atom SE for a discounted price (BIG discount). After thinking about it I just went about fixing it myself with an old credit card, toothpick, and epoxy - think Frankenstein, but it flies no problem. I was tempted to take them up on their offer for the new SE, but would rather fix this one and save for an upgraded drone. When they asked what I'd like to do and told them I fixed it myself they were almost apologetic that I crashed my drone and offered to send me a new set of paddles. If that's not great customer service, I'm not sure what is. An overall great experience.

Die Lieferung ist pünktlich bei mir angekommen, in einer hochwertigen Verpackung ein - in meinen Augen ein durchaus hochwertiges Produkt. Mit der Drohne mitgeliefert wird eine Tragtasche, in der alle Teile auch weiterhin aufbewahrt werden können. So kann die Drohne auch einfach auf Reisen mitgenommen werden.Vor Inbetriebnahme ist es auf jeden Fall sinnvoll die Gebrauchsanweisung zu studieren. Sie kann sehr einfach im Internet heruntergeladen werden und ist in tadelloser deutscher Übersetzung vorhanden (obwohl chinesisches Produkt, verständlich in Deutsch formuliert)Das Installieren der Steuerungs-App am Hady ist problemlos. Allerdings sollte beim Einschalten der Drohne dann genau nach der Gebrauchsanweisung vorgegangen werden. Wenn man nämlich nicht zuerst die App aufruft, dann den Sender und zuletzt die Drohne einschaltet, verbinden sich die einzelnen Teile nicht miteinander. In der beschriebenen Reihenfolge App,- Sender - Drohne verbinden sich die Komponenten automatisch miteinander.Die Steuerung ist unkompliziert. Die Drohne stabilisiert sich sehr gut selbst und reagiert sofort auf jeden Steuerbefehl.Das Handy wird auf sehr elegante Weise in der Steuerung eingeklemmt. Die Bildübertragung von der Drohne aufs Handy funktioniert hervorragend. Man fliegt die Drohne sehr bald nicht nach Sicht sondern nach dem übermittelten Bild auf dem Handy. Da die Drohne sehr klein und leicht ist (unter 250 g), entschwindet sie sehr bald aus dem optischen Sichtvermögen des Piloten. Der Rückholknopf auf der Steuerung ist bei dieser Art zu fliegen sehr hilfreich. Die Drohne startet sofort mit dem Rückflug zum Startplatz, sobald auf die automatische Rückholung gedrückt wird. Sie fliegt auf die einstellbare Rückholhöhe und in dieser Fluglage auf direktem Weg zum Startpunkt, über dem sie sich dann langsam absenkt. Die Landung ist automatisch und bei allen meinen Versuchen sehr punktgenau (in einem Umkreis von 30 cm vom Startpunkt aus)Die Videoaufzeichnung (in 4K auf SD-Karte) ist ebenfalls problemlos. Allerdings kann die automatische Stabilisierung bei ruckartigen Bewegungen der Drohne nicht immer ganz mithalten (was aber auf Grund der Kleinheit der Drohne verständlich ist). Daher hier ein ganz kleiner Abzug von einem Stern (lieber wäre mir ein halber Stern gewesen). Man muss halt als Pilot ein wenig trainieren, die Drohne möglichst sanft zu fliegen, dann sind die Videos tadellos und absolut brauchbar.Am Handy sind während des Fluges alle wesentlichen Flugdaten ablesbar - von der Flughöhe, der Entfernung der Drohne bis zur noch vorhandenen Akkulaufzeit. Die Angaben im Prospekt über Flugzeit (30 Minuten pro Akku - 2 sind im Lieferumfang - und Ladezeit mit 90 Minuten) stimmen übrigens perfekt.Als Zusammenfassung kann man sagen : für diesen Preis ein absolut hochwertiges, einwandfrei funktionierendes Fluggerät, das ich nur zum Kauf empfehlen kann.

El dron es un aparato estupendo. Viene muy bien protegido en una bolsa acolchada de buena calidad. El modelo comprado es el Potensic Atom SE de 2 baterías. Lamentablemente viene con cable pero no con cargador. El mando está bien construido, es sencillo pero eficiente. Viene con todos los cables necesarios y todo tiene una calidad impecable. Tuve algunas dudas pero tras hablar con el servicio técnico quedó todo resuelto. El vuelo es suave, la estabilización de la cámara impecable, la calidad a 4k también muy buena y fluida. Los controles no dieron ningún problema. El aterrizaje es suave, cuando está a 50cm del suelo baja la velocidad para aterrizar con suavidad aunque seas novato. Aun con algo de aire se comporta estable y las baterías realmente aguantan los 30minutos volando. Un buen dron para alguien que comienza con calidad premium y precio ajustado.

This is my first drone. I had $250 worth of Amazon gift cards that I had collected from Christmas and my 55th birthday and didn't need any golf stuff so i decided to look at drones. After 2 weeks of looking and reading reviews and watching a few videos, I decided to go with the Atom SE. It's a great drone. Very stable. Watch the many Youtube reviews of this drone and they are nothing but positive. I've had the drone for 3 weekends now and have flown it on 3 separate days. I had read the manual and watched a few tutorial videos before I flew it the first time. I flew it behind and over my house a few hundred feet above and beyond the house. It went perfect. Very easy to control and learn. The remote is awesome. I have a Pixel 7 Pro and it fits nice and snug even with a case on it. The batteries last quite a while, about 25 minutes on average. Today was the warmest day (45F) that I've flown it and the first time that the battery was warm enough to let me go into sport mode. Lots of fun flying around at 35 mph. The videos and pictures that I've captured thus far look a little bit better than the ones attached to Amazon reviews.I did have a close call today. My oldest son and his fiance were visiting and I was showing my son the drone controls while it was hovering about 50 feet off of the ground. My controller started flashing warnings about losing signal and then the drone started doing a death spiral shortly after that. It started moving towards the ground in a spiral fashion and I got control of it with an emergency stop when it was about two feet off the ground. It was then that I remembered the iPhone warnings that I had heard about in the reviews. They say to put iPhones in airplane mode when flying the drone due to interference. My son had his iPhone in his pocket while I was showing him the controls. I had him place it in airplane mode after that and started the drone back up and flew it for about 15 minutes without issue.Originally I purchased the 2 battery combo package but have since purchased the 3 battery charger with 1 additional battery. It's a great charger, easy to use and, fits nicely in the case. Speaking of the case, it's really nice and fits everything perfectly.Overall, I think this is a great drone for the money. I have no regrets in purchasing it. My drone weighs in at 248 grams with the battery in it according to my weight watchers scale. If you're in the US don't forget to do your TRUST training. I did mine through the Pilot Institute website and it was very easy to complete.

Having flown the Atom for a few flights now, I can say this is an awesome drone. It's easy enough for a beginner, but has enough features for a more advanced user. The setup was easy and the drone paired quickly with the controller. The controller itself will hold a pretty large phone. My phone is a Samsung S25+ and it holds it fine. I'm really impressed with the picture quality. Much better than I expected. I did have a small issue with a battery and Potensic was quick to respond and help. Ultimately, they replaced the faulty battery. All in all, this is a drone I can really recommend.
