I was excited to try this based on reviews. I tend to prefer a dryer wine or champagne. I am pregnant and in search of an alternative to wine. I have tried several. Most are outright bad. Some, like this one, is good but overly sweet and resembles a juice more than a wine. It takes like a sparkling grape juice mixed with apple juice. It’s a good drink, but doesn’t cut it if you are in search of a wine alternative. At the price, I am underwhelmed and disappointed.
Had my first glass of French Bloom in NYC and immediately looked to buy a bottle of it after. It is the closest thing I’ve tasted that looks and tastes like the alcohol version of champagne. The bottle, the bubbles, the “toastiness” all makes me think I’m drinking the real thing and no funky after taste like so many others I’ve tried. It is pricey so I see this as a splurgy NA for special occasions but it definitely doesn’t disappoint. I do prefer this “blanc” version over the rose (the rose was a little too sweet for me). Cheers!
For those complaining about the price, I find it absolutely worth it considering this is the only N.A. champagne I’ve found that isn’t loaded with sulfites and other preservatives and is made with organic ingredients! If you’re a migraine sufferer like me, a single glass of any of the current alternatives leaves me in bed with a migraine.I’ll absolutely continue to grab a bottle of French Bloom for occasions that call for celebration!I favor the Rosé of the two options - but both are great!
Worst ever, tasted like vinegar.
I've been searching for a truly non-alcoholic wine, sparkling wine, for so long. Most taste like store bought sparkling cider. This does not. The flavor is light but complex. I love that it's not too sweet and has an incredible finish that just leaves you feeling like you are drinking something truly special and extraordinary. It's not overly carbonated, just like really high quality champagne bubbles, very light. I'm so grateful to have a new go to, it's a bit pricey so you will want to savor every sip. Love this and highly recommend you try it!
This does NOT taste at all like champagne. It tastes like sparkling apple juice - very nice apple juice, mind you- but definitely not a replacement for champagne. I am very disappointed, especially at this very high price. I'll stick with Friexnet NA sparkling "wine". Much cheaper, and more like wine for sure.
I really enjoyed this product. The structure of the bubbles was very reminiscent of champagne, and while slightly sweet, on par with a summer rosé overall and by far better tasting than other non-alc spirits I’ve tried. Great option for sober, or those watching their calories/sugar without feeling left out, or enjoying what you like. The bubbles stayed fresh for 3 days with a cork in the fridge, which I also appreciate. I’d definitely recommend.
This was delicious, it was just really expensive to justify for alcohol free sparkling wine. I've found comparable ones that are much cheaper. This one is worth it for the more upscale aesthetic of the bottle though!
