This is a good quality condenser microphone for the price. For a higher price you can get better sound, but this delivers quite well for someone on a budget. I have been using it for podcasting and radio. The microphone comes beautifully packaged in a hard case lined with foam that is cut out for each included piece of equipment: the microphone, the pop filter, the shock mount and the manual. The case has a metal handle and two strong clip locks. You attach the shock mount to the microphone with an included threaded washer, and the assembly fits easily on any standard microphone stand. An included foam pop filter can be placed over the microphone. There are two control switches on the microphone. One attenuates the volume for cases where you may be overdriving a mixer or other device, and the other switch is a high pass filter that takes out rumble. I found these switches to work fairly well. The microphone requires 48V phantom power, so make sure you use it with a mixer or input device that provides this, otherwise your signal will be very low. The tone of the mic is pretty warm and full, a notch above what a dynamic mic of the same price might give you, and the cardioid pattern works well. Overall, this is a good deal.

I picked this mic up to tidy up the audio on my tiny home workspace after my old one kept rattling every time I tapped the desk. The champagne finish looks far nicer than I expected and the metal body feels reassuringly sturdy. Setting it up was simple enough, altough I did manage to clip the pop filter on upside down at first like an absolute donut.Once running, it gave my voice a cleaner, warmer tone and cut out the hum from my computer fan, which made editing less of a chore. The shock mount does a decent job of stopping those tiny vibrations when I get a bit animated. My only mild gripe is the switches are a tad small, so I had to squint to check them. For the price it brings strong value, and I’m more than happy to stand behind it as a dependable choice for anyone wanting a tidy recording setup.

As a music producer, who has a lot of other friends and music, I got this as a gift for a collaborator. We were very impressed upon opening it that the case and the overall look of the mic were super professional. And it’s a lot more sturdy than we really expected, so I would consider it a win. The sound is average. At this point, it’s more about whether or not you know how to Record properly than it is about getting an expensive mic.

I am very pleased with this microphone!I was a little bit skeptical as the brand was unknown to me but the quality of the product speaks for itself. The recordings I have taken are crisp and clear! The microphone feels very sturdy and has a nice weight to it.The box that the microphone and it's accessories came in is brilliant for storage! It's padded so you feel relaxed about it's safety

This is a gorgeous bit of kit that arrives in a huge box containing the mic and a very sturdy mount. It mimics the Neumann U87, down to the 87 in the name and is clearly an attempt to produce an affordable version of that industry standard mic with its warm, detailed vocal capture, wide frequency response and low-cut filter for help in handling plosives and noise. It's way more affordable and feels very well built. I was looking forward to flogging my U87 and living large on the proceeds until I plugged it in.Sadly, this just doesn't cut it by comparison with the real thing. I just didn't get enough bottom end and the effortless way the Neumann deals with wide frequencies was a struggle for the Suuntok. I then A-B'd it against my much cheaper ADK condenser and it was the same story. My ADK is no longer for sale. Maybe if you don't have a decent condenser, this will do fine. But I'd be tempted to read advice on U87 clones if that's what you want. And maybe try a few if possible. This is a convincing looking and feeling article, but just not as good as it looks.

Arrived in a nice, padded storage box complete with carry handle and latches. With its design and TM87KB name it’s clearly modelled on the famous U87 by Neumann (generally seen as the industry standard), albeit for a small fraction of the cost.Obviously for the massive price difference it would be unreasonable to expect an equal level of performance. It is surprisingly good though. Looks and feels good quality with some fair weight to it. Sound is rich and clear with impressive dynamic range and does a decent job of filtering background noise when correctly positioned for the cardioid pattern.Overall, this is a good value microphone that stands out against many others at this price point, and a good choice for anyone in the market for a budget model.

I initially planned to replace my current vocal mic for singing as it's been dropped a lot and has seen its better day.Once getting it hooked up and running it through some paces I found that it wasn't as good as I was hoping when it came to deep tones. I have a pretty deep voice and found that it was really kind of punchy and required me to adjust my vocal amp a lot more than what I normally have to do when using different mics. Once I got it tuned in it's a pretty solid mic and has pretty good sound. Again, it isn't great with really low tones in my opinion. That being said, I also make a lot of videos for online content and I think that this will work really well for just a vocal mic outside of singing. So I plan to use it as that.Overall for the price, it's a really nice piece of equipment and I certainly don't think that you can go roll with it considering the price.

This budget-friendly mic impresses with clear sound for music and calls. Its unique character sets it apart from Neuman 87. The metal shock mount ensures a secure fit, and the elegant gift box packaging adds a touch of sophistication. A stable, reasonably priced choice for quality audio.

Sound quality was better than expected and it was easy to set up. For the price of you are trying to set up a small studio or using it for blog uploads this is pretty seamless and not complicated.

This came in a very nice box and sometimes you get the feeling that the packaging is better than the contents but overall I think the contents in this case really do feel as good as the box. It is a nice weight and has a good sound range. Perhaps not as good as other microphones but for the price what would you expect. It is certainly good enough for what I am using it for. It certainly does look the part and I think it will last for sometime

I have owned a LOT of microphones. I have ALSO found that lots of them that look good have been known to have less than perfect performance.MOST inexpensive condenser mics, especially the ones that look a lot like U-87s, are usually poorly designed electronics with terrible elements in them... this one is better than I expected. The metalwork is good and solid, and the microphone sounds quite good, especially for the money spent. The quality of the circuit board and electronic components is above average for mics in this price range. The shock mount is adequate... far from exceptional but good enough to get the job done You can't do a whole lot better than this at this price.
