08-03-2026So fresh, tasty, and yummy with bursts of the most delicious cherries! Moist, flaky, would definitely purchase again. Beautiful paper gift wrap with bow. My favorite of all the various brands and flavors I’ve tried…Amazon needs to package more thoroughly, however. Did not arrive in a box. Just a bag! Was slightly squished on one side, so I’m glad I wasn’t gifting it. Silly mistake—this is a somewhat delicate bread.

08-03-2026I loved this combination of dark sweet cherries and almond liqueur flavoring. Absolutely a dessert, though not overly sweet. The dough was rich and airy, with characteristic panettone tear. Will buy again.

08-03-2026I saw several other reviews talking about how the panettone arrived smashed, but because it wasn't a consistent issue I assumed it was a fluke....Now I know better. If you are familiar with panettone, you know that it is a soft bread/cake. And although some panettone are packaged in a box (or occasionally a tin), this one is wrapped in paper. Therefore, shipping this item in a paper bag would sound absurd to anyone who has ever shipped anything. However, that is exactly how it arrives, in a paper bag that has clearly been smashed multiple times. And it's not just about the appearance, since part of the value of a great panettone is how light and fluffy it is when you slice it and eat it. Unfortunately, this one is so smashed that it is dense and unpleasant. And let's be realistic, it isn't cheap either. For $25, I would think they could splurge for a $.50 box to protect it from damage. Oh, and yes, it also looks terrible. So, this is a very long way of saying that unless they change to shipping process (which couldn't be easier), you should definitely avoid buying this item.

08-03-2026This cake did not disappoint! Moist, soft, full of delightful large whole cherries (not just pieces) but not too sweet either. We enjoyed it with tea as a morning treat. For the two of us, we were able to have at least three portions each. Worth it, imho. And as a gift it would be splendid -- the packaging was gorgeous.
