08-03-2026This device shows up on my Google account as a Pixel 5 phone. I suppose this is how they get around the Google Play Store requirements. I DID NOT test the Wifi because I wanted to use Ethernet port. That worked great with full speed from my provider. Unfortunately, it does not support all of my streaming apps - specifically HULU. I know that I can get some of the HULU shows through Disney+ app, but I can't get 100% of the shows and movies that I paid for that way. So unfortunately, I will have to return this device.Also the remote was very frustrating. With some apps, I could use the default mode. But with other apps or the settings/search area, I had to switch to the mouse mode. I'm sure this wouldn't have been much an issue if I had setup the included keyboard.The Media Player app would not play correctly files from the HDHomeRun app. These files are MPEG-TS with 1 video stream, 2 AC-3 audio streams and 2 text streams. Some TV channels would be 2 channel audio , but most were 6 channel (192kb/s @48kHZ Dolby Digital).

08-03-2026Unfortunately it stopped working at the exact time when I couldn't reuest a replacement or refund. So I got stuck with it. The only thing good iss that the keyboard that can work with alot of components because it is plug and plaay with a USB-A shortie. So that works good.

08-03-2026It is plug and play. The only inconvenient I noticed is that it gets very hot. But I solved it by sitting the TV Box on a laptop cooling pad. The key board and the control works fine.

08-03-2026I am about to purchase another android box. This will be my 3rd one. The picture quality is great, it's easy to set up, fast speed and compatible with all of my televisions. I have a Samsung, Sony, Hisense and Vizio. I have transferred this to vice to all of them and had a great experience.

08-03-2026I bought it to replace my media player PC. It really does the job. Together with the Kodi app and the add-ons and Geo relocating, I get my fill on British TV. The remote and the mini wireless keyboard works just fine from about 12. Feet away. I had trouble with the VLC media player finding media on added USB sticks but Kodi handles that just fine. The picture is fine, the sound via the optical connection into a amp/ receiver works fine. Best of all it says it's rooted! So any modders out there may find that a real bonus. Side loading apps is a real pain , but that is not because of the box. It's a real winner. I've been trying to replace my media PC with a fanless, low energy, fast startup device for 10 years. Looks like I've got there.

08-03-2026Spent several hours trying to set this up.... it says it's not compatible with disney+ the main reason I ordered it was to play my apps on so no hulu no espn. Most of the other apps like fandango etc say it is detecting an illegal rooted device so that makes it not work. This is a waste of money!!!
