UPDATE-please see end of the review for update. To be sugar-free and taste like that is awesome. The only thing is, it has aspartame in it and I’m usually allergic to aspartame but… Nothing has bothered me. I have not gotten a migraine because of aspartame I’ve not gotten sick so I’m assuming it’s because I only drink one a day and I don’t binge on them. If I were to binge on them because they’re so good, I probably would get a migraine. It’s worth buying and the price is right. I am a diabetic so I’m getting used to zero sugar things, but they have to have limited ingredients in it and especially preservatives. I have a picture that shows a few of the cans that were damaged in the Canada dry box. 10 out of the 12 were damaged like this so when you try to open it, sometimes the cap will break off so you can’t drink it. I ordered more so we’ll see if they’re all damaged but it’s hard to drink out of these when they’re damaged like this so you’re not getting your full drink because you can’t always get all of the liquid out. I ordered three more cases and each case at least eight cans were damaged; bubbled and wrinkled in the bottom and some were bubbled on the top. You can’t open it because the snap snaps off when you push down. I don’t know if that’s happening at the manufacturer or it’s happening with the seller who is banging the boxes around, but this is unacceptable.
I'm not a big fan of ginger ale and figured this would be mostly ginger ale with a hint of cherry but it's the opposite: it has a very strong cherry taste with a light ginger ale aftertaste. It's really good! And the cherry flavor is from real fruit juice, not artificial flavoring so it has a taste quite similar to a maraschino cherry. It's quite a treat. It does have a lot of sugar in it so just be cautious of that. I don't find the drink overly sweet and I do wonder if it would still taste good if they put in less sugar and let it be a bit tart. As it is, there's no tartness at all.Overall this was surprisingly good and not at all what I expected. If you find ginger ale to be OK but not great like I do you might really like this one. But keep an eye on the sugar intake.
If you’re on the hunt for a bubbly treat that’s both refreshing and a little bit fruity, Canada Dry’s Cherry Ginger Ale in a can is a pretty delightful pick. It’s got that classic ginger ale fizz we all know and love, but with a nice hint of cherry that isn’t too sweet or overpowering. It’s just a little twist that makes it feel a bit more special.Pop open a cold can, and you get that familiar crispness of ginger ale but with a cherry finish that’s kind of like a little burst of fun. It’s great on its own or even as a mixer if you’re feeling creative. Overall, it’s a tasty, effervescent sip that brings a little extra flavor to your day.
I've been trying to taste this since Christmas or before then and every time I order it from my store online it is always out of stock or unavailable. When I saw this on Amazon I just had to pull the trigger and taste what everybody is buying the out of the stores and won't leave at least one for me to try.So the hit it right on the nail value for the money first off I did not overpay for this I think it was like $5 the stores are about 9 or 10 dollars for a 12 pack so this was perfect price point for me.Now now the quality of the product well it's Canada dry so you can only assume that it would be the same that you would expect for years I've been drinking Canada dry for so long I can't count how many years. The taste of this fruit splash it's actually a cherry ginger ale it's actually not that bad it's almost like a Shirley Temple although the grenadine makes it a little sweeter but it's almost like that so it's actually really pretty tasty and I like this for a mixed drink or just a regular drink or if you're not feeling good and you just don't want plain old ginger ale and this will be good for your throat if it's itchy so that's kind of why I got it so I could have it on hand but I really also wanted to taste the flavor and I do approve.Because I got the 12 oz cans I don't have to worry about the flatness however I did notice there were a couple of cans the head expanded and I think they had to do with the shipping so I I did make sure that I put those in the fridge first and as far as flatness they were not flat at all and even though they had expanded there was no leakage. I think the calorie count is average for a 12 oz can of soda being ginger ale and remember the base of it is ginger so if your tummy doesn't feel so good you can also drink a couple sips of this and it'll help settle your tummy. So that's about it my review for this product and item that I have been waiting so patiently to try to be honest with you has been worth the wait I would actually purchase this again there are a couple of other flavors at Canada dry has that I absolutely love and hopefully they keep this one around during the during the year.
This soda is an excellent addition to the holiday season. With a fruity flavor and crisp taste it will add pizzaz to your holiday drinks. The caffeine content is ZERO!! IM ALLERGIC TO CAFFEINE SO THIS SODA IS PERFECT FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING TO DITCH THE CAFFEINE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
Cranberry ginger ale used to be my favorite until this flavor came out. It is light and fruity, very refreshing. The price is very affordable. I can't get enough of this. Quite tasty. I will continue to order this.
