Solid bloody mic! The mic's casing is metal. Super nice. Vibration buffer okies. Not as good as the older model. The arm boom is PURRFECT, it doesn't spring back. Stays where you place it.Fits my desk well enough, and is able to clamp on without any issue.For the value, I say this is a good mic to get if you're starting out and need a good beginner mic for streaming or podcasting. Allows you to upgrade to better equipment later on, with easy USB-C and XLR connectivity. Including 3.5 audio plug!I used an older Maono mic before buying this one, and I feel that what you get from the cheapest version of these mics vs. what you get from this one. This one is better bang for your buck.

I love this microphone. Sound quality is excellent. It looks good and adjusts easily to nearly any angle.

Overall, it has a nice build and sound quality. It even sounds good using the included USB cable, and not just when it's hooked up with an XLR. I have a bit of a deeper voice and needed to tweak the EQ a little to pick up the lower tones in my voice but that didn't take much time. I like that it has both gain control and headphone volume control right on the mic. Overall I'd say it's a good mid quality microphone for a great price compared to the quality. I'm able to use it in my home studio for good quality voice over work. Since it does sound good with just the USB, it can be taken with you fairly easily without needing a big case or anything.

It's been a great microphone for the price, for about a year. I was definitely happy with it! But a piece of the plastic broke today and it's just hanging on for dear life. The microphone part still works, but can't adjust it without fear of it snapping completely. Might try to glue it to get some more life out of it...

I purchased this mic 16 months ago to improve my audio quality while streaming. I started out using it with a USB function straight to the computer. The mic has great gain, and reverb control with the knob directly on the microphone where you can also mute it, simple function and great a microphone.We then upgraded and purchased the Maono Monocaster G1 mixer and use the XLR connection on the back of the microphone. It's very clear and crisp set properly using either USB or XLR. The sound audio is studio quality. When I make clips or go back and watch my videos on demand it's very clear and distinct.The other thing that sets this microphone and company apart is their customer service. The shock mount broke last week, I emailed the customer service department to see if there was anything they could do, they help me very quickly and are shipping me a new shock mount without 10,000 questions of how and why they just responded. Hey, we got you! I gave it five star. Would recommend to anybody that does any kind of podcasting streaming or video making, editing, vlogging etc. The boom arm it comes with is sturdy and I have not had any issues with it. Overall a fantastic product. Great price range. Great customer service.

Apart from the awesome audio quality Maono has great customer support, Had a software issue which rendered my mic not connecting to my laptop but when I reached out to the customer service team they were very helpful responding within 12hrs and provided me with the software that solved the issue in 1click and my mic started working perfectly fine after that.Highly recommended

The reason why I’m writing this review is to first boost this product as this a view nice sounding mic and the quality is amazing the also allows use to use either usb c or xlr! Also the setup was common sense. If your looking for Something affordable and good sounding mic this should be it!Second was the great customer support who are super helpful when it comes to support as they take you to doing steps seeing if replacing something like a cable or checking if their a loose connection somewhere along the process over all 10/10 support.

Great sound! Easy set up!!! Great value. Be careful with the swing arm foot — it's not as sturdy as it could be.

After doing plenty of research on the variety of dynamic xlr microphones, I kept coming back to the Maono PD200X. Not only is the price point very competitive, but it has the option for USB, and XLR. My first few months of using this mic was through USB, and was told over and over by other gamers I have met that my voice was coming through so clear, and they would ask how that was so. Most people expected me to say it was a $400 mic, but when I told them it was not even 1/6th the price they couldn’t believe me. The mic and app were so easy to setup right out of the box, and it comes with a boom arm that clamps to your desk to free up space. As a new streamer, every inch of desk space matters so this was a plus for me. Since, I have swapped from USB to XLR as my new setup required it for my dual pc setup. And to add, the mic has some rgb, which lets be honest, is always a plus if your on camera. It has a convenient knob that’s easy to access for adjusting your volume and mute with a single press, and it turns red when your muted, so no second guessing, and green when your mic is active. I don’t usually leave reviews for products but I’ve had this mic for over a year now with daily use and have yet to encounter any issues, and still get compliments on the sound quality from both gamers, streamers, and viewers. If your looking to ditch the headset mic, and get a real mic that competes with the high end, but it priced on the lower end side, this is the mic for you.

The addition of this mic to my gaming/streaming setup has massively improved the quality of videos I make with the keyboard noise being picked up less due to better positioning of the mic along side crisper audio quality
