Surprisingly good!
A very good Margarita mix
Update: we've gone through 2 boxes and will sorely miss having these around! End of the day, a can, some ice, and splash of mezcal - perfect little drink!Q SPICY MANGO MARGARITA MIX is not bad! It really has some spice, like real spicy pepper taste, i was worried it’d have an artificial mango taste but it tastes totally fresh. See my photo- for one can of mix we added a bit more than 2 ounces of Mezcal and some Hawaiian Li Hing powder mixed in and on the rim- the Li hing (a red candy plum powder if you don’t know, similar to chamoy) gave it a little needed sweetness to our smokey Mezcal and we didn’t add a lime but didn’t miss it. blended in my magic bullet with ice we got two margaritas out of the one can of mixer. Tasty summer treat! Happy to have it on hand as we always have a bottle of mezcal around to mix with with juice. I think the spicy kick would make it a great virgin drink too.
I don’t make margaritas out of this, but I have had ones that I like as regular pop. Most pop is made out of fructose syrup and I like these mixers because they’re made with cane sugar. This particular version is way too sweet. I even tried putting it in seltzer and it came up too sweet for me. My neighbor loved it! So I gave it to her.
Best margarita mix! My grocery store stopped carrying it, so I ordered a case. Not too tart or overly sweet. It's perfect. I love freezing pineapple juice cubes to use in this mix!
I have tried this mix with Tequila and without alcohol and it tastes great either way. My wife likes it and a friend also liked it.4 cans are packed in a paper box and 6 such boxes are packed in a tray and shipped. Each can is for 2 servings and 90 calories per serving. Half can is good enough for one drink.Mango is NOT the primary ingredient. Juice is only 15%. Sweetness comes primarily from 19g added sugars. But the consistency (viscosity) made me think it is truly a mango syrup. It is spicy, you can feel it, but most people can easily handle the spiciness. Don't let spiciness discourage you from trying it.When consumed with tequila, I just added half can of the mix, 2oz of tequila, and 5 cubes of ice. I could have made it more fancy, but this itself made a good margarita. When consumed without alcohol, I added half can of the mix, 4 cubes of ice, and half can of unsweetened and unflavored sparkling (carbonated) water. Good drink, but it can be made more fancy.I would recommend it even though I am a little disappointed that there isn't much mango in it.
I tried this brand because I am a suckered for spicy sweet beverages. Of course, I tried the ginger beer made with extra spices first. It was good, so I tried some other flavors.I was not prepared for just how good this particular flavor would be for that sweet and spicy fix.Even though I give it 5 stars, drink in moderation. You don't want to start an accidental juice cleanse on spicy difficulty.
Great flavor. Easy mixing.
