08-03-2026Can't really take this as a serious mic, but it's a fun party "toy" to mess around with. The speakers sound better than I would've thought. My sister and I went to Taiwan years ago and found similar but these are better quality... granted 8 years makes a huge difference in technology.We had fun with this and will continue to have fun with it!

08-03-2026For the price this is really not too bad. It doesn't sound amazing, and you have to hold it right up to your mouth for it to pick up the sound but at max volume it's pretty decent. I do wish it had a "reverb" function instead of the "echo" effect which just is distracting and not really useable. All things considered though with the SD card function and the 3.5mm input this is a pretty cool all in one karaoke mic!

08-03-2026I saw there were a lot of negative reviews about trying to connect this to bluetooth. Personally, I don't want any more toys that involve my kids trying to use my new expensive phone or require another app download, so I haven't tried to do that. As I was hoping, my kids got this working as just a regular microphone pretty quickly. They enjoy playing songs on the echo device with the words showing so they can karaoke it that way. Our smart Amazon TV also has a setting where you can play music that way with the lyrics running, so that would have been another option if we didn't have the echo show 5. I didn't tell them it had any other possible features and they are very happy with it. They've been playing with it for hours over the last couple weeks. This toy was definitely a hit and I would recommend it. Also got them off their rears so they were a little more active, dancing to the music.

08-03-2026It's an ok mic that as it turns out doesn't do any modes like some other karaoke machine for kids. Meh. Not too excited about it and won't give it to my kid. I'd better find something that it fun to play with and sing along to.
