It fits perfectly on my 18–135mm and 24–105mm, and it does a great job cutting down flare and protecting the front element. The build quality feels solid, and it attaches securely without any wobble. For the price, it’s an awesome upgrade to keep in your camera bag. Highly recommend!

08-03-2026I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the canon hood. I work 4 days a week in a studio and became kind of annoyed with having to thread the hood on every day. I also noticed some minor vignetting if it wasn't screwed all the way down. in the end, I purchased a canon hood anyway. the fact that they click onto the lens backwards for storage, snap on instead of threading, and don't have any issues with vignetting made the decision to just pay the extra money worth it for me. This hood might work just fine for photographers that leave their hood on all the time, but for me the inconvenience was annoying enough to upgrade.
