Gorilla® Max Strength Mounting Tape, our strongest mounting tape, includes a mesh reinforced layer making it 1.5x stronger than our Heavy Duty Mounting Tape. It mounts in an instant for a permanent bond that holds 3 pounds per 4 inches of tape! Gorilla Max Strength Mounting Tape is perfect for indoor projects and sticks to smooth and rough surfaces. Bonds Permanently: Painted Walls, Mirrors, Plastic**, Metal, Wood, Glass, Ceramic & More!
*Weight limits may vary depending on surface texture, porosity and flatness of surface. Both surfaces must be completely flat to make full contact with adhesive.
**Not for use on wallpaper, delicate surfaces, polyethylene and polypropylene plastics or other non-stick surfaces.
Directions:
Surfaces must be flat, dry and free of dirt and oil. Clean with isopropyl alcohol according to manufacturer's instructions. Use 4 inches of tape per 3 pounds of weight.
1. Apply tape to back of object vertically, allowing for even distribution of weight. Avoid touching surface of tape.
2. Tape can be torn by hand or cut and press to secure tape to object.
3. Remove liner and align object to desired placement.
4. Press firmly for 60 seconds as Gorilla Mounting Tape conforms to the surface and creates a strong, permanent bond.
Tips for Use:
• Holding weight is based on objects with a maximum depth of 0.75". Objects over 0.75" in depth put more stress on the bond and have an increased chance of failure.
• Tape must make contact with surface. If surface is uneven, tape will not be able to make contact and will not hold.
• Apply when temperature is above 50° F. In-use temperature range: -40° F to 248° F.
I've only been using this tape for a couple of weeks but so far so good. I used this tape to have my solar patio lights on the front of my house.Very easy to use and seems to be very strong and sticky
I bought this to tape the sliding closet door to the floor instead of screwing it in. I don't know how it compares to the cheaper versions of Gorilla double sided tape, but so far it's holding so besides the price, I give it 5 stars.
Mounted my car camera, it fell mounted a small poster it fell
This tape is absolute garbage! What a rip-off!. scotch tape from dollar tree holds up better than this! You are warned, save your money don't buy this crap. It does not work at all! no hold, extremely light sticky, it removes itself when it drops your lightweight item to the floor. Absolutely Not!! recommended.
Freaking fantastic!!! Holds up like it says. A tip wipe down the surface with rubbing alcohol (that's if you can use it on that surface) it really helps the bonding. but I used to hold up my audio interface under my desk.
It doesn’t stick at all. Just opened the new pack and it doesn’t work. Very very disappointed
I put this tape on the side of one thing I wanted taped. The tape successfully stuck to that. Then I put something on the other side and that something also stuck. So it worked.
Works really good, but For this particular size is very expensive for what you get. I was using it for a runner rug, and I was only able to do the one short side.
Wow, this is awesome. I tried all of them except this one. This is exceptional. The material has cross cross polyester fibers. My ride has painted cladding around the wheel wells and some got free. I used alcohol and a rag to clean behind the cladding and slipped in the tape. After applying it to one side I used a tweezer to remove the paper strip so it would bond to the other side. The strength is incredible.
Muy fuerte unión aún en material rugoso
I use this to put clear acrylic shelving on my kids rooms to hold knickknacks, Labubus and other fairly light items. It did not stick more than a couple days. I’m sure there is a learning curve with this.I did add an adhesive primer to it when redoing it the following week, and that seem to work significantly better. But from this brand, I expected the shelves to stay up and not fall with such a minimal amount of weight on them. I would not likely buy this product again.
Bought this to attach a Tow-Away sign to the concrete wall of my daughter's parking garage spot. The tape seems to have an extremely strong hold, almost to the point of "how easy will this be to remove!" Gave me a high level of confidence in it having a strong hold that will withstand temperature changes and some weather effects. (It's inside a garage, so it won't be rained on or anything like that.) Very easy to use. You can tear it with your fingers and not use a knife or scissors if you want. Very pleased and I highly recommend it.
