We just installed this camera this week. We already had 8 Reolinks and realized we had a “dead” spot and needed to add another. This is the perfect addition. The night vision is crisp and clean. I can actually read license plates if need be. I like the two-way chat feature too. It was a little pricier than I would like, but it had been 9 years before we upgraded the older cameras so I’m sure it will be worth it over time also.

I waited until this product was available after the Christmas season. I think Reolink wanted to sell as much of the 2mp version as they could which is also a great camera but this one is even better.I had previously bought a POE camera from Reolink and I was very happy with how easy it was to set up and all the features it came with. I just needed a wider POV and better night vision. This camera is exceptional at both, I can't say enough good things about it!It's relatively easy to install and set up and it has an excellent interface. There are many ways to tweak it and I encourage you to go through each one carefully because once you have it set up properly it's really amazing at determining what is a car, person or animal. Then you can set up whether you want it to notify you or record or both based on a variety of factors like how long the subject is in frame and at what time of day.Or you can simply set it up and just pick some basic settings and it will still work great you really don't need to be an IT nerd like me. Most of all it's a fantastic deterrent. I live in a high petty crime neighborhood and the thieves always turn around when they spot my camera and my GF feels way safer when she gets home from work late at night because of the motion triggered spotlight.

⭐⭐⭐The camera has good image quality and a wide 180° field of view, but it has some major limitations. There is no tracking feature, and it does not move at all, so you have to manually adjust it, which is frustrating. The display is long and narrow, which works fine on a wall but not on the ceiling. I originally mounted it on the ceiling, but the view was awkward, and I had to take it down. If you’re looking for a camera with flexibility in placement or movement, this might not be the best choice. However, if you’re okay with a fixed-position camera and only need wall mounting, it does the job well. Over all it is a good camera.

Ours has issue stitching picture at night with IR enabled. During day works fine but as soon it flips to IR is bad. We ended up getting external IR emitter that its on at night and just turned IR off on the camera. Also if you have another camera nearby that beams IR during night this will work as well. Camera is ONVIF capable so you can use RLK app for mobile and 3rd party brand NVR as well.. (enable ONFIV under networking/advance)

Ok, so where to start on this Reolink Duo 3V camera... It's 180 degree of viewable, which is part of the much good. It's a solid camera, it's not cheap or weak case/shell. The Camera can obviously take some hits and keep on going which supports it's IK10 Vandal-proof rating.Unlike other cameras, you have to take the camera fully apart to secure it to the overhang. This is the bad part. While other cameras give you a base what allows you to slide/rotate the camera onto, it's very easy to secure a base to the overhang. In this camera, you will REALLY need to the template that's included, use that to drill your holes into the overhang, and hopefully, have your cable lined up as well. This really made mounting the camera a real pain in the rear end, and is why it's not a five star rating. Once you do have the main part mounted, you get to screw the cover back on with the included star type L shape wrench. Also, since you have no PTZ, you have to really crank hard on the Philips head screw to setup the alignment of the cameras up/down.The ugly comes in the form of getting this system setup. After loading the software onto my laptop, you could get the camera accessible, setup IP address and other goodies. In my case, I needed ONVIF along with a username/password combo. At first Synology would talk to ONVIF, but the camera just shut it self down. I then found that Synology actually has a REOLINK DUO 3V selection, and we went from ugly to a better setup. Had we not of had Synology's reolink setup, I have a feeling this would have been a mess to get working. Good thing I did check the Synology website first, and DUO 3V was listed. Finally, some more good. Once I did get it all working, you do get a very nice 180 degree view. It's not bad looking and where the two cameras "meet" is not bad [nor does it stick out in the middle of the picture]. So far, I'm happy with my purchase. The Synology has no issues with the camera and remote viewing works perfectly.

Product works as advertised and is excellent quality. Video is very clear, IR mode is impressive but I use color since I have a low light environment and it has very clear color. FOV is perfect with minimal distortion. One of the only companies that does not restrict you to a crappy software and charge you for service, which was one of the main selling points for me.Warranty Service was very easy and straight forward and quick.

This camera works really well. It does take some fiddling to get it to work with a non-Reolink system, however. It does not have a web-based configuration interface like most cameras. You have to install the Reolink app to configure this camera in this case. That's a little annoying, but once you install the app, configuring the camera is pretty straightforward. If you have a Reolink system, then setting this camera up is probably pretty easy. I'm using this camera with an AgentDVR/Ispy system, and it works well.Reolink has versions of its app for Windows, MacOS, Android, and IOS (no Linux). If you're planning to use this camera with a Non-Reolink system, then you MUST install the app and configure the camera to get it to work. For a non-Reolink system, In the app, go to: Network-Server Settings, and enable rtsp and onvif. These protocols are not enabled by default. Non-Reolink DVR's use these protocols. If you want sound, then go to: Device-Sounds and enable audio. This setting is also off by default. One reviewer stated that the resolution is much worse than advertised. I have not seen this. The resolution is very good imo. Note that this camera has two video streams. It has a high-res stream and a low-res stream. Maybe he was connected to the low res stream by mistake? I know I've done that before. You can also configure the resolution of the two streams in the app. Maybe the resolution of the high-res stream was not configured to its highest. I don't now, but it works fine for me.Another reviewer complained that the two images aren't stitched together very well (this camera actually has two cameras, and the two images are stitched together in software). There is a slight discontinuity where the two camera images merge, but the alignment of the two camera images can be adjusted in the app. Go to: Device-Display-Advanced-Image Stitching. With a little fiddling, you can get the two images stitched together pretty seamlessly. Note that this will never be perfect, because the convergence of the two camera views depends somewhat on the distance of the object from the camera. You can get it pretty close, though.Another nice feature of this camera is that there doesn't seem to be any problem with reflections from the infrared lights onto the inside of the dome lens. With other cameras I have, this is a big problem, but I don't notice this problem at all with this camera. Night vision is good, and the built-in IR LED's do a pretty good job of illuminating things. Of course, their distance is limited (this is true for every camera I've ever worked with). Adding a separate IR flood light can make a big difference if you want to see your whole yard, for instance. Also, if you don't want the white flood-light LED's to come on at night, you need to disable those in the app. Go to: Device-Light-Spotlight.

Just a great camera! The huge viewing angle lets me see and record half my street at once from my porch. Recordings are in great quality as well even the night vision. I was a little wary of getting the two internal cameras to line up into one image but, was seem less out of the box, no adjustment needed for me. Love the Reolink line of cameras, have a couple others as well but this was my favorite addition!

Having owned many Reolink cameras over the years, it always impresses me to see the advancement in these cameras! While 16MP is impressive, I've become a huge fan of Reolink's dual-lens cameras, since they pretty much capture everything from the side and front of the camera. No need for PTZ if the camera is mounted against a wall, and no missed motion because you've got it aimed in the "wrong" spot! This camera is Power Over Ethernet only, and it seems to only be listed as compatible with certain Reolink NVRs.In my experience, even if it shows an image on a third-party NVR, you lose all the smart features that these cameras come with. An example would be object detection and motion tracking. This model has some impressive night vision capability, but it's not as good as the ColorX seen in other Reolink cameras. There are several features that make this particular camera ideas for security, including in a commercial setting: The anti-vandal housing is significant, and keeps the camera protected from damage caused by flying objects (like a thief throwing rocks at your camera). If you use the microSD storage, you can secure the slot with screws (rather than a rubber flap). But you also get other storage options if you prefer to keep the recorded content away from your camera: like on the Reolink NVR, or an FTP server (including a NAS, if you have FTP enabled). The smart alerts and zone detection/avoidance works fine, and you get specific notifications based on what the camera sees (i.e. person). However, Reolink still hasn't implemented thumbnails in their notifications, which means you have to open the app and play back the section of video to see what it captured. This has been a feature that's been requested on the Reolink forums for years, and nearly every other competing product, including low-end cameras, offer thumbnail notifications! I'm not sure why Reolink hasn't put this feature in their app, but not having it makes things very inconvenient. At the time of this review, there's no price in the listing for this camera, so I can't say how other Reolink cameras compare.

works well. It is installed to monitor the whole back yard. The not-so-great thing is during evening, it can barely see anything.
