08-03-2026These are the safety glasses I use when giving soap making classes and for anytime I’m working on a project when I need to protect my eyes. They are roomy enough to go over my glasses, with room to spare. They are so lightweight, I forget I have them on. Vision is clear through them, so when working with a caustic material, I can see exactly what I’m doing as well as read any text.

08-03-2026I seem to have misplaced my primary pair of safety glasses that go over my eyeglasses. I'm sure I'll find them, but only after I purchase a replacement. But, this time I decided not to do the usual thing and buy another single pair. This pack of 12 pretty much ensures I'm never going to be without safety glasses near by.These are pretty much what you expect them to be--clear plastic safety glasses that fit over regular eyeglasses. Are they fog-resistant and scratch resistant? I don't know. It's way too warm here right now for fog to be anything other than a distant memory. And it's too soon after I've started using them to proclaim them to be scratch resistant. But let's face it, safety glasses like these get scratched up, that's just the nature of the beast. And that's why I like having a dozen of them.The arms on these glasses do get pretty thin on the part that goes behind your ears. One person might say that makes them cheaply made; another person would say that gives them better flex for more comfort so that they don't apply undue pressure on your head. I have a relatively narrow head, so I actually wish they exerted a little more pressure so they won't slide off my head when I raise them on top of my head to get them out of the way temporarily. Regardless, I can bend the arms pretty severely and they don't break, so I'm inclined to believe that's not a weak link here.These also have holes at the end of the arms in case you're the type who likes to have a string on them to hang them from your neck when not in use.Net net, they aren't the most fashionable eyewear ever, but really what safety glasses are? I think that these will keep my eyes safe from the situations I'm likely to encounter, and the low per-pair cost is a good reason to always have some spares on hand.
