If you are honest with yourself you have to understand that non-alcoholic wine will never be a 1 to 1 replacement to regular wine. That being said, I’ve tried a lot of different alcohol free wines or near wines, and these are the best I have tasted. The Cabernet is dry, not sweet, and quite good. Reds are tough to get right without alcohol and this came out quite well. It doesn’t just taste like juice. The Sauvignon Blanc has a nice bite to it, that honestly really could pass as having alcohol. Both pair well with food, which seems to enhance the mouth feel of the wines. Both are also low carb/keto friendly. The wines were packed well, and arrived safely. If you are looking to cut back on alcohol, or don’t partake at all, these wines are a great option, to celebrate with or maintain your ritual without the negative health effects.
I hate to write a negative review, because I really wanted to love it, and I love that they are making the effort to produce a decent NA wine when there is so little out there. But I don't get the glowing reviews either. It not only didn't do it for me, honestly, it wasn't even a "I could possibly almost imagine I'm drinking wine" type of close. It was far too sweet and felt even sweeter after a few more sips - almost cloying. I chilled it cold as I knew that was probably best, but despite trying that, and then trying plenty of ice, watering it down, etc, nothing was really helping - it just wasn't cutting it at all. Hate to say, I tossed the glass, and the rest of the bottle down the drain. It might work as a base for a non-alcoholic sangria, but that's about it. Bummer.
I really like that this is a non-alcoholic wine alternative, but I was not super impressed with the taste. I would definitely buy again because there are not very many options to pick from for non-alcoholic wines. I would describe the taste as rather watery, with some grape/wine flavor. It is very low sugar and low calorie which is what I really like.
I tried one other non-alcoholic red wine that was OK but a bit too much like grape juice. This one, however. was really good. Not sweet. Not exactly the same as regular wine but pretty close. I really enjoyed it and have put it on my subscription orders. Wish it were a bit cheaper. Would buy more often if it were.
This N/A wine is likely the worst I have ever tasted. It was recommended by a blogger who was taste testing many different dealcoholized Sauv Blancs. I have no clue how the description was written, because this wine has no fruit taste and smells literally like cat pee. It tastes just as bad. Tossing it out, sadly.
I’ll be honest — I’m usually not a big Cabernet Sauvignon drinker because it’s often too dry for my taste. But this one really surprised me in the best way. It tastes just like the real thing, only smoother and without that overly dry bite that most Cabs have. I can pick up hints of blackberry and plum, which give it a nice rounded flavor profile. What I love most is that it lets you enjoy the full wine experience without the buzz or next-day regret. You still get to look like an adult and unwind with a glass, just minus the consequences. For me, that’s a total win-win!
This wine is horrible!! I paid a lot of money for it based on the description provided by the company who made it. It does not taste even close to wine. In have been drinking FRE NA wine for several years and it is delicious and only $10 per bottle. I thought I'd try something different despite the high price. What a mistake. I am going to ask Amazon if they will refund my money.
Absolutely terrible! I wish I would have thought to look at the INGREDIENTS list before I bought this dealcholized “Sauvignon Blanc” . $22 for a bottle of dealcholized wine with WATER GRAPE JUICE CONCENTRATE and YEAST PROTEIN and OAK extract. So gross. It tasted so odd. Not sweet, but somehow tasted like orange juice and other weird flavors. Now I know why. I’ve bought dozens of NA Sauvignon Blancs, trying to find something not sweet, but crisp and tart. Usually the dealcholized wines are “safer” without ingredients, but I know better now.
