08-03-2026I’m super impressed with this shelf. My desk, where I work, game, and crochet, was becoming an overstimulating mess because I had no storage. I rent so I’m weary to put up shelving and drill holes in the wall. I had previously bought a lamp and a drawer that both clamp to the desk and they were perfect solutions. I was surprised to find a shelf that clamped and matched the wood grain of my desk. It was so easy to put together and fits the space so well. The brackets make it super sturdy. They’re small shelves but they’re great for holding a couple of frames or some tchotchkes. I also love that the shelves have a little ledge so that the items aren’t constantly falling off the back or hitting the wall. Truly an awesome product!

08-03-2026Bad enough that the product itself is very poor quality. Will upload pics when have more time showing how the glued sides were moving and not straight, as well as how the attachment components came apart using NORMAL (and careful not to overtighten) screwdriver instead of a drill driver (you'd NEVER want to attempt the latter with this poorly made item). Worse still when Amazon Returns says they're going to re-charge you for this AFTER you returned it, and they mixed up the return with an item they credited you for like they should have separately, BUT then says that same item was swapped out for this one (which means I'd have had two purchase two of the items I only purchased one of, in order for Amazon to even be able to attempt to claim I returned the wrong item so they're reversing my refund. In other words, since I only bought one of the items Amazon says I returned two of (claiming I must've kept this poor quality shelf, instead of returning it) and basing it on a phantom second item I only purchased once (and that's indisputable based on my purchase history), because Amazon somehow, after processing the refund for the ONLY other purchased ONCE item correctly -- them somehow processing that item again for this one--and then saying I returned it instead of this one... Well, that makes the experience doubly disappointing because the item itself isn't something I'd have bought because of its own poor quality, and then after returning it, Amazon goofs up things so they claim they didn't even get it and says it's because I returned a second thing I only bought one of, instead of this item, which was DEFINITELY returned but the refund botched because of Amazon's OWN poor quality returns process.

08-03-2026If I could give this 4.5 stars, I'd do that. I take the half star off for minor things. The pieces aren't perfectly aligned, so the shelves don't sit perfectly flat (but good enough, nothing slides or anything). And on the shelves the edge/wall pieces aren't very well aligned either, but completely functional and you'll only notice if you look for it. For the price and the fact that it functions completely adequately, I'm fine with it. It is easy to assemble and the clamps are plenty strong for the light weight items I have on it. I'd recommend keeping it to the 11 lbs. limit I saw in the ad.
