08-03-2026I happened to have a partial box of staples that I brought home from the office a few years ago, so was able to test it, but I expected the stapler to at least have some in the chute. So that's a little annoying.It says it can staple 20 sheets so I counted 20 sheets and took a video stapling it. It worked fine.I might prefer a red one like Milton but only so I can quote that movie even more. Otherwise I like this one a lot and will use it. I did hold a magnet up to it and did not stick, so not magnetic like a metal stapler would be.I recommend it for light home duty and suggest buying some staples.Here's an awful joke:Why did the stapler go on strike?He felt like the man was constantly pressing him down.

08-03-2026Really cute stapler but literally cracked in half today as I was stapling 3 sheets of paper! Could have bought a cheaper brand but I thought Swingline was reliable. It was never dropped, just normal use for a stapler.
