This was probably the easiest drone I've got up and running. Strangely, there is no provision to run the DJI o4 (non-pro) air unit. You'll need 3d printed parts for the camera mount and the vtx mount. I found what I needed from the Mangorille Youtube channel - search for "DJI O4 Air Unit Lite ACTUALLY An Upgrade?" It flys nice and is a bit faster than I expected. It's the lightest drone I own, though I'm no stranger to 2" drones. My go to is a cineracer20 (aio fc, vista, elrs) guts in a Geprc Phantom HD frame. Also, I found it easy to put the grommets in TRONCAT (youtube) dental floss method.
First one burned out its motor on its first flight, the second one work fine and haven’t had any issues with it so far
I would like to leave a review, but I can’t. I can’t fly the damn thing. This thing comes without the camera. So I still have to get the 03 air unit. I’m so disappointed right now. This thing cost $200 and I’m still $175 away from even being able to think about hooking it into the damn computer.
I have a couple of Pavo20 Pros, they have become my goto for relaxed freestyle flying around the yard. I'm fortunate enough to have a yard with some big tall evergreens, the Pavo20 pro is capable enough to climb and dive the trees without having to be overly cautious on the end of the dive not to run out of power and park in the grass. Coming from the non pro version, this was what I was hoping for: enough power to make more fluent big moves, while the 3 blade props hold steady and precise paths around smaller yard and garden features. This does not have the raw performance of a 5 inch and it doesn't have all the autopilot and video features of a consumer drone like a Mavic but for someone who likes to fly around their home to to relax, this has great performance for something that so far under 250g without exposed props.
This thing is a ton of fun. My second one. I did have a little issue with my flight controller, but tech support was great and responsive. They sent out a replacement right away.
Great little drone. I like the battery low for lower center of gravity and stability. I added a Walksnail micro camera no problem, but had to use ziptyes to make it work. Probably 2 hours of flight time, and no major damage so far; my landings are more like controlled crashes....good movement and control. Good real drone to start with, and has met every expectation I had. Very happy with my purchase.
Carbon motor plate is a little thin but light weight is good for a ceni whoop
Awesome drone!!! Almost every one i know have a pavo 20 and for a good reason they are reliable and trustworthy on preforming. I was really surprised. I will definitely recommend it for beginners and pro.
