08-03-2026I’ve always prided myself on my bartending skills but this kit has allowed me to take it to another level. I never would have guessed to make a drink with bacon flavor (or black walnut for that matter). The flavors are very distinctive and we’ve enjoyed experimenting with them. The kit includes a metal 1 ounce / 2 ounce measuring cup. It also includes a small recipe pamphlet. Normally I would not have considered it but it lists some truly unique and innovative drinks. The kit can be used to make some normal drinks like a standard old fashioned, an orange forward old fashioned or out to some very unique flavored drinks (Maple-bacon Manhattan?) and everything in between. While this is a sampler set of 4 ounce bottles, the syrups are available in pint size bottles so it’s easy to replenish the flavors as you run out of them. Surprise your friends and save effort mixing cocktails – an excellent combination.

08-03-2026What a great tasting mix! It's so convenient to have the simple syrup already mixed and requires just a tiny bit of mix per drink! My wife actually enjoys them with me now - the flavors are fresh and would certainly purchase this again!

08-03-2026I wanted PROOF SYRUP Old Fashioned Cocktail Mix Set because I loved the idea of the pack and thought it had great variety. Unfortunately the actual execution of the pack is lacking. There was very little difference between the flavors. Maybe my added liquor was too strong for it? I'm not sure, but mostly what I was getting from the mixers was sweetness, but not flavor. The traditional and pecan tasted exactly the same when used. The orange tasted like a standard old fashioned since they usually have an orange peel in them. The only two I could tell the difference between were black walnut and maple bacon. Maple bacon was definitely the best of them. The set also includes a jigger that has markings for 1oz and 2oz...meaning I can't even use the jigger to accurately follow the recipes on the bottles which require 1/2oz of the mixer.

08-03-2026These are very pricey mixers. The math (at current price) comes out to around three bucks a drink. Are they worth it? Yeah... maybe?Some are better than others (the maple bacon was by far the most popular), but they're all good. Definitely worth a try at your next party.

This item has good value for the money and is made of quality ingredients. Was a perfect fit on my mini bar. I recommend this item.

08-03-2026Each of these is more of a mix than a syrup in my opinion, being a bit on the diluted side. The sweetness to flavor intensity feels pretty well balanced and the lighter concentration makes it easier to measure and harder to get wrong. Bottle and packaging feel premium. There are five flavors and a nice measuring tumbler in this set, and each flavor is - interesting and off the beaten path. In general I found them to be nicer than expected, including the maple bacon - didn't expect to like it since I don't usually like bacon, but it was pretty good too!Maybe it's just me but several of these had a fragrance reminiscent of - Coca Cola! Can't explain.The cost is a bit high but I'd say it's worth the quality. Considering that it's difficult to balance out flavors in a mix like this one, and sometimes the syrup will have an undesirable lingering aftertaste or bitterness - these would be worth trying out, and they offer larger more cost-effective bottles of the individual flavors.
