The San Pellegrino Ciao Lime is so perfect! There is actual lime in it and it tastes deliciously limey! There are other lime-flavored fizzy waters that just have a very slight essence of lime. Others are sweetened, which I don’t like. These are so refreshing and have only 5 calories! The other flavor of Ciao that I love so much is peach! The bubbles are small, just enough to give that carbonated sort of burn in your throat.
When i first tasted this, i was not sure if i liked it. But i then added some stevia and now i love this drink. It has peach juice and blood orange juice and lemon juice (4% juice) but i still needed some sweetener. However, i think i love this flavor because instead of using only "natural flavors" it also includes real peach.
Refreshing.
Of all the flavors, I think lime is the best. I first tried them in Albuquerque at a friend's house. And now, I can't stop drinking them. SO delicious!
I took a huge step back from soda last year due to how much sugar is in it. My kids would see me drinking soda and of course they want some but I dont feel comfortable with them having such sugary, unhealthy drinks. So why am I drinking it ? The San Pellegrino Peach is soo refreshing and it has the right amount of carbonation to satisfy my soda cravings with only 1 gram of sugar compared to a whopping 39grams that is typically in soda in the same size can! The taste is something you have to get used to as it does have way less sugar but the peach is pretty good. I think the flavor could be stronger but I like to experiment by adding fruit into my drink for additional flavor. Also the 24 cans are split into 4 boxes which is super convenient for storing.
This product is a good compromise if you are looking for a sugar-free drink but worry about the health effects of artificial sweeteners. While it is not as sweet as diet sodas with artificial sweeteners, it has more flavor than other brands of flavored sparkling water I have tried, such as LaCroix. The blood orange flavor is my favorite overall, with 10 calories and one gram of sugar (from orange juice concentrate, not added sugar) per can, and a nice tart orange flavor. Peach and cherry flavors are slightly sweeter. Lime flavor (5 calories and 0 grams sugar) is the most tart. All of the “Ciao” flavors have no artificial sweeteners, except the Orange & Pomegranate flavor, which adds sucralose.Daily recommendations for a 2000 calirie diet allow about 25 grams of added sugar per day for women, or 36 grams for men, so you can drink several cans a day without going over your limit.I’ve tried other brands such as Spindrift and Bubly, but San Pellegrino has the best flavor, and uses real fruit juice.I buy them using the “subscribe and save” on Amazon and save money over the grocery store price. My local Safeway charges $8.29 a six pack, so to get a case of 24 for around $20.00 is a good deal.
It wasn’t bad but different for my taste buds. I could taste the peach flavor but it was too bubbly. I was trying something new but again it wasn’t all bad cause I did drink most of it. Nice size can and refreshing.
These are very good! Great cherry flavor.
